Aesha Scott made her debut as the chief stew in Below Deck Down Under season 1. Fans may remember Aesha from Below Deck Mediterranean season 4, where she worked as the second stew under Hannah Ferrier. When Hannah was let go in season 5, Aesha was brought in mid-season to serve as second stew for Bugsy Drake, who was promoted to chief stew. Aesha found herself unable to click with anyone in Below Deck Med season 5 as the crew wasn’t used to her off-color sense of humor. However, the viewers loved Aesha’s bubbly nature and quirky personality.

Below Deck fans were excited to hear that Aesha would be coming back to the franchise in Below Deck Down Under as the chief stew. Tumi Mhlongo and Magda Ziomek were her second and third stews, respectively. Aesha was impressed with Tumi’s experience and her ability to decorate a table beautifully. Magda had a lot less experience and had to rely a lot on Aesha and Tumi’s guidance. However, Magda was falling short in her department, which Captain Jason Chambers commented on when the laundry room was a mess. Aesha attempted to remedy this by putting Tumi in laundry and Magda on service, but things weren’t running any smoother.

Aesha became increasingly frustrated as Magda’s focus seemed to be more on her boyfriend, Maciek, than her job. Magda was caught multiple times texting her boyfriend instead of working. It was also brought to Captain Jason’s attention that Magda was using much of the boat’s internet bandwidth by texting and calling Maciek, who lived in Poland. After catching Magda napping during work hours and constantly texting while at work, Aesha had to make a hard decision. She consulted Tumi to get a fair read on the situation, and while Tumi said she didn’t want to get anyone fired, she agreed that Magda wasn’t pulling her weight as a stew.

Captain Jason already had a chef and a stewardess on standby, as he was fed up with Chef Ryan Mckeown’s attitude and performance. Aesha wasn’t happy about it, but she told Captain Jason that it would be best to bring a more experienced stew on board. He agreed and pulled Magda into the bridge to give her the bad news. Surprisingly, Magda didn’t take it too hard, and she seemed relieved to be going back home to Poland.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like Magda and Maciek made it work. The former couple hasn’t posted any recent pictures together on social media, and they no longer follow each other on Instagram. Magda told Captain Jason that she would be back with more experience, and he told her he would be happy to have her back. Hopefully, Below Deck Down Under fans will see her again, but until next time, perhaps Magda should leave her phone at home.
