The 180-foot Benetti superyacht is aptly named the Lady Michelle and is now home to the cast of season 6 of Below Deck Mediterranean. The vessel has been sailing the Croatian coast, delivering audiences amazing views and, as of now, relatively low drama. Lady Michelle is the second biggest yacht to star on the show, right behind The Wellington. So far, the entire cast seems to be enjoying their time on the boat and each other’s company. David has been a standout deckhand, thanks to his hard-working demeanor and a million-dollar smile, not to mention he may now be known as the hitman of the sea, thanks to his lobster killing scene.

Before starring in season 6 of Below Deck Mediterranean, David had never seen the series before and “went in completely blind,” as he mentioned in his interview with Screen Rant. It is evidently “career suicide” for a Yachtie to take part in the hit nautical show. The Devon, England, native revealed it was well-known that anyone who participated would never get a job on a superyacht again. Still, as his good nature allowed, he joked that he was nearing his time in leaving this particular career, noting, “I know the perfect way of leaving superyachts.

The surfer is currently taking orders from Malia White, who is back in her second season as bosun, and according to the deckhand, “Malia is great!” Bravo viewers are split down the middle when it comes to their opinion of Malia, but David set the record straight, revealing, “She is a brilliant bosun.” Bravo fans have also watched the possibility of a crush starting to form. But as many know, Malia had just gotten out of a tense relationship with Below Deck's Tom Checketts. But a bad break-up shouldn’t stop Cupid’s arrows. When asked about the possibility of a boatmance, David replied, “Um, what I will say is there has been no negative outcome from anything. Things are good. Without going into details, it’s kinda just a case of seeing how it develops and how it actually plays out to understand the final outcome.

As for working through the coronavirus pandemic, David asked that we “hold the line” as he thought about his answer. The cogs in his brain paused as he revealed there were injuries and there may have been some form of illness, “Was it COVID? Was it not? That is to be seen.Below Deck Mediterranean fans will have to keep diligently watching each episode to see if a spark of Below Deck romance works out between the deckhand and the bosun.
