Bravo fans can't get enough of Below Deck. The nautical-themed show that follows the crew of superyachts as they serve wealthy guests has expanded into three separate shows. Now, fans are wondering, would there ever be a Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean crossover?

Fans of Below Deck were beyond excited that, after a multiple season break, a new-old bosun would be reappearing on the newest season. Eddie Lucas made his debut back in 2013 for seasons 1-3, but made the decision to leave the show to focus on himself. Five years out of the limelight was just what the doctor ordered, as he is back and ready to lead the new outside crew members.

In season eight, Eddie has teamed up once again with Captain Lee. The two men will need to get used to the greenhorns, but should have the ship running in tip-top shape in no time. Meanwhile, fans have been holding out hope that the Below Deck shows would merge in one amazing crossover event. Sadly, the leader of the exterior told Digital Spy that he would “not work for Captain Sandy.” While season eight promises to be full of drunken charter guests and needy stewardesses, one thing fans will not see is the cast of Below Deck Med popping in for a surprise visit.

Eddie told the outlet he was not interested in being micromanaged by the female captain. He said, "I don't think, of the episodes I've seen with Captain Sandy, I don't think her leadership style and mine would be very harmonious. I think the way she micromanages a lot of ways, that wouldn't really work for me."  Eddie made it very clear that he would be more comfortable with Captain Lee’s style of leadership, saying, "With Captain Lee and I, he trusts me in what I'm doing and how I do it. I really appreciate that and I work well that way. Captain Sandy, I've never met her and I don't know what kind of person she is or anything like that. What I've seen is that she doesn't seem to really trust a lot of her crew members and always seems to have her hands in a lot of pots."

Below Deck fans are concentrating on the season ahead, which has already teased a lot of drama. Even though there may not be a crossover in the works, fans can always count on drama from the high seas, no matter which franchise is currently airing.
