Fans love the bromance between Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 crew members Chief Engineer Colin MacRae, First Mate Gary King, and Chef Marcos Spaziani. Colin and Gary worked together in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 and developed a close friendship. As Gary was trying to deal with the fallout from his love triangle with Alli Dore and Sydney Zaruba, Colin was often a sounding board and good listener. Their friendship experienced a minor speed bump when Colin spilled to chief stew Daisy Kelliher something Gary had told him in confidence about Sydney. However, Colin apologized and all was good between them.

Marcos made his debut as the Parsifal III chef in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 and he was immediately liked by the crew for his laid-back personality. Below Deck yachties are used to temperamental chefs but Marcos always remained calm and pleasant even under pressure. Marcos, Gary, and Colin had to share a cabin on Parsifal III and the three often bonded after a long day of work. In a recent episode, Marcos lost someone dear to him and shared the sad news with Gary right before an elaborate dinner for charter guests. The first officer lent a sympathetic ear and told Marcos that he would help out any way he could.

Colin paid homage to the three Parsifal III crew member’s bromance in a recent Instagram post. Colin shared footage from the latest Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode of him, Gary, and Marcos play fighting after a night of drinks. Colin captioned the video with, “Play-fighting is a testosterone fueled way of showing love and affection. You simply don’t play fight with people you don’t like.” The chief engineer, who is now dating Silvia Latini, joked that he often finds it difficult to express his love for his friends, which is shown with a “good old fashioned punch up.” Colin added, “Our bromance is being coined the greatest love story in reality tv history, and the slightly intoxicated spoon with my brothers says it all.”

Colin acknowledged his high-pitched giggle, which was recorded by the cabin’s security camera. Viewers loved the wholesome scene between the three men and thought it was the best scene of the entire season. Many especially found it hilarious that their hijinks were going on while everyone else on the boat was asleep. Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans commented that they loved seeing the men celebrate their friendship and one wrote, “This is my favorite scene form any season of below deck (all of them) the innocence and pure joy you guys were having translated through the tv. The bromance is real.”

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 has not been easy for the crew. They have had several demanding charter guests, with one resulting in the worst tip of Below Deck history. Captain Glenn Shephard had to fire Tom Pearson early on in the season due to a major mistake made by the green deckhand. Second stew Gabriela Barragan also left, but chose to do so of her own accord. With the season nearing its end, Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans were happy to see some lighthearted fun between Colin, Gary, and Marcos.
