Fans were not surprised to hear that Below Deck's Captain Lee Rosbach is looking into opening a rehab center at sea to honor his late son, Josh. The Bravo star has always been open about his family's tragedy and is now looking for a way to give back. Captain Lee took some time to share his ideas regarding his future with Screen Rant and was happy to reveal his plans.

The 71-year-old Captain Lee is no stranger to the sea as he has piloted many vessels in his time. Captain Lee's salty one-liners and love of rules have made him a fan-favorite. The nautical-themed show follows the lives and drama of the crew who work on the superyacht. Each season, the crew finds themselves in the middle of arguments, love triangles and bad charter guests, but Captain Lee is always there to keep everyone in line.

As far as Captain Lee seeing a day he hangs up his captain's hat, he bluntly offered his thoughts, telling Screen Rant, "I think retirement is highly overrated just because I have the best god**** job in the world." It was clear by his reaction that he does not view his line of work as work at all. Often, Captain Lee worked for nothing because he just enjoyed being out at sea. As for the question about ever leaving Bravo, he joked, "I guess as long as people want to see me, I'll stick around."

BELOW DECK CAPTAIN LEE

Captain Lee shared that he is now on a voyage of the soul as he revealed his intention of creating a rehab center at sea called Healing Waters. The facility will aim to accommodate 200 patients at a time on a 470-foot barge. Captain Lee's goal of the center is to help those who struggle with addiction get jobs once the ship returns to port. Captain Lee shared that plans were moving along, noting, "I wouldn't start the project if I didn't think it was going to finish." In an effort with Ocean Saviors, Captain Lee shared that they had started to raise funds in order to help purchase a barge. There will have to be some remodeling done before they can accept patients, but he is looking to get all the personnel in place once they have the facility ready, saying, "A lot of the leg work has already been done." The goal is to have patients working on reef and waterway clean-ups so they can develop life skills. There will also be 10 or 12 vocations that each patient can choose from. As far as operating the ship, the Bravo personality shared that he will have another captain on board. As Captain Lee readies himself for a new venture, he insisted, "If I embark on a project come hell or high water, we'll get it done."

It's clear that the stud of the sea has not given retirement much thought. The captain shared that there is something magical for anyone who has ever been out on the water, whether it is the healing powers or calm demeanor. The sea clearly holds a special place in Captain Lee's heart. There is no doubt that Captain Lee will be with fans for a very long time.
