Recently, Captain Lee shared some priceless parenting insight with model and Bravo superfan Chrissy Teigen. The mother revealed on her Twitter that she and her family adopted a lot of pets during their quarantine which included two parakeets. Her tweet read, "Our family adopted two new parakeets for our home school classroom. that makes 1 English bulldog, 2 French bulldogs, one giant poodle, one bearded dragon, one still alive hamster, and two parakeets that do nothing but gossip and look in their parakeet mirror." Captain Lee read the news and had some advice of his own to offer the Teigen-Legend household. The Captain, who is known for his dark humor, replied to the tweet by saying, "Keep a close eye on the hamster, very unpredictable, can’t tell you how many we had to replace in a clandestine fashion so as not let the children know what actually happened." Check out Chrissy's tweet and the Captain's response below:

Many other parents chimed in to express their hate for having to replace hamsters and other small pets so their children would not be upset. Captain Lee’s tweet will be a welcome gift since Chrissy often discusses her love for the Below Deck franchise. Chrissy has also interacted with other crew members and joked with other fans about the hassle of putting up the deck slide.

Recently, Captain Lee took to his social media account on the one-year anniversary of his son's passing to pay homage to his son, who tragically passed away due to his addiction to opioids.
