At Walt Disney World, there are a number of high-quality restaurants that are inspired by nothing more than the culinary artists and food-centric savants who develop their menus, atmospheres, and identities within the theme park behemoth. However, that does not preclude Disney's IP from creeping into some of the top eateries at all four parks and the accompanying resorts.

This is certainly true of Be Our Guest, which makes a solid claim for the top table service restaurant in the Magic Kingdom. Inspired by Beauty and the Beast? Of course it is. But the menu is filled with options that would delight any traveling foodie, princess-inclined or otherwise.

Assorted Meats And Artisanal Cheeses

One can never go wrong with a charcuterie board. This platter of assorted meats and artisanal cheeses is available throughout the meals of the day, but it will hit the palette just right during breakfast especially.

Among the highlights on the board are the chicken rillettes and the Pleasant Ridge cheddar endeavor. Either way, the board works as a sharer on the table, but it can also tag in as a meal for those who just love their meats and cheeses.

French Onion Soup

To be fair, there's nothing about Be Our Guest's French onion soup that reinvents the classic dish in particular. It's just the fact that, every now and then, Disney crushes a menu item by following its tradition exceptionally well.

That's the case here. Disney didn't create a brand new take on French onion soup. They just made the best possible version of one. Croutons, gruyere, provolone. The ingredients are staples, but the results are scrumptious.

Center-Cut Filet Mignon

Moving into the entree side of the Be Our Guest menu, the center-cut filet mignon is another fancy restaurant classic that Disney just happens to capitalize on well.

This mignon comes with a cipollini marmalade and red wine glaze, making it even more special to the taste buds. And while it may not be a top entree choice, it's clearly a quality choice if steak is the top meat preference of a diner.

Poulet Rouge Chicken

Lighter meats always tend to fare well as theme park cuisine anyway, which is why the poulet rouge chicken notches slightly above the mignon. Disney always manages to whip up chicken dishes well and the poulet rouge is no exception.

Not to mention, it's served with seasonal vegetables and a delicious bread pudding. It may not be quite at the same level as Ohana's version of bread pudding, but it's still the ideal side dish selection for a Disney order.

Vanilla Cake With Lemon Curd

Naturally, what would a menu in Fantasyland be without an emphasis on dessert? There's a much more desirable dessert upcoming, but the vanilla cake with lemon curd cannot be ignored either.

The vanilla cake itself is rich and sumptuous at every bite. However, the plant-based, accessible nature of the dish is also met with fresh fruit add-ons, including strawberries. It's sweet, but not too sugary, which is an ideal spot for a dinner topper.

Maine Lobster Bisque

Back in the soup and appetizer territory, Be Our Guest's Maine lobster bisque is such a perfect way to kick off the meal that diners will be shocked to learn that they're not nibbling at the Nubble Lighthouse in New England's York, Maine.

Instead, this lobster bisque is made fresh in Orlando! A New England staple may not seem like a perfect translation to central Florida eats, but Disney has always handled its seafood, especially lobster, with aplomb.

Herb-Salted Pork Tenderloin

Back in entree territory, the herb-salted pork tenderloin is easily one of the best directly meat-centric options for diners. Anchored in a pork jus-style pork belly with delicious vegetables, it might be one of Disney's best pork dishes full-stop.

The dish is also met with candied pecans, which help to elevate the dish even further. Nuts around the Magic Kingdom are great snacking opportunities, but pairing them with a pork dish makes for a whopper of a Be Our Guest experience.

Vadouvan Spiced Vegetables

In recent years, the plant-based, vegetarian options at Walt Disney World have improved to such a degree that they've become more highly considered than the obvious meat selections. This is certainly true of Be Our Guest's Vadouvan spiced vegetables, which is one of the best entrees on the menu.

The vegetables may be seasonal, but the dish is always affixed with a corn cake, as well as coconut and pickled mustard accouterments. It's a healthy option, to be sure, but it's also highly delicious.

The Grey Stuff

As the classic Beauty and the Beast song elucidates when Lumiere sings, "Try the grey stuff," it's delicious. A restaurant named Be Our Guest has to pay homage to the song it stems from and it does so beautifully by incorporating the grey stuff into the white chocolate dessert.

The grey stuff itself is one of the most sought-after desserts at the Disney Parks. It's the kind fans will be eager to make their own version of at home! But the experience of a fresh grey stuff dish served in the Beast's castle is far from genuinely replicable.

Pan-Seared Sea Scallops

While the grey stuff may be the most famous dish at Be Our Guest, it is not exactly the best-tasting item on the menu. That honor belongs to one of the entrees: the pan-seared sea scallops.

Again, Disney is excellent when it comes to preparing seafood. But this dish comes paired with apple flavorings and a seasonal risotto. That's a three-for-three combination right there and it makes for a perfect meal after a quick ride through the story of Ariel or a visit to Belle's gift shop. It's a delectable Disney dish.
