One of the more difficult bosses that players will need to fight through the course of Assassin's Creed Valhalla is Leofrith who is one of the strongest soldiers at the disposal of King Burgred. Leofrith is more than ready to end the lives of any players not prepared for this fight, so it is incredibly important that players know what they are up against. This guide shows players how to defeat Leofrith.

The battle against Leofrith takes place in an arena that is surrounded by a ring of wooden stakes. Players will want to make sure they are completely ready to face off against Leofrith, so they should focus on collecting any resources in the area they might need. Once players are ready they can step into this arena and start the fight against Leofrith.

Phase One: The first phase of the fight forces the player to play cautiously and fight defensively against the fast powerful enemy. The majority of Leofrith's attacks have an orange glowing symbol that appears whenever he is about to strike. All the player has to do is press their shield button when this symbol appears in order parry Leofrith's attacks, and then the player will be able to attack him a few times.

There are two big things to look out for during this part of the fight though. Sometimes before Leofrith attacks, he will instead spawn a red symbol above his head which is extremely powerful and cannot be parried, so players must instead dodge. Occasionally, he will step away from the player as well and a blue symbol will appear above his head. If this happens the player should not try to attack Leofrith, or he will attack the player immediately. They will need to stay away until he decides to fight normally again. Just keep this up until the second phase begins.

Phase Two: The second phase of this fight is similar, but Leofrith has become much faster and stronger than he was before, so not only will he attack faster but he is capable of avoiding the players more easily. During this phase, players shouldn't worry about draining Leofrith's stamina bar, because he will now have unlimited stamina. The trick here is to go on the offensive as soon as one of his attacks is parried to stop him from being able to dodge out of the way.

The best way to bring Leofrith down in this phase though is to focus on using strong ranged abilities as often as possible. Ones that can stun him are best to use because the player will then be able to move in and use some melee attacks on him. Keep using ranged abilities and parrying his attacks and players will be able to bring Leofrith down in now time.
