While Kaysar Ridha fights for $500,000 on Big Brother 22: All-Stars, Ivette Corredero is fighting against accusations that she used racist terms to describe Kaysar during their time on BB6. Kaysar and Ivette met when they both competed on Big Brother 6. During that season, however, Kaysar and Ivette were not the best of friends. As Head of Household, Kaysar nominated Maggie and James for eviction. Then, as James' nomination was vetoed, Kaysar nominated Eric, who ended up going home. Maggie and Eric were Ivette's closest friends and allies on BB6, so it's safe to say that she was very hurt by Kaysar's decisions as HOH.

Over the years, fans who watched the BB6 live feeds have shared several alleged statements made by Ivette against Kaysar during that season. According to those fans, Ivette said that Kaysar "can ride camels back to Iraq" and called him a "sand [n-word]." Throughout the course of BB6, fans also allege that Ivette compared Kaysar to terrorists and claimed that he was a "fake Muslim." With Kaysar now back on TV as an All-Star, these statements are being unearthed... prompting Ivette to react to the social media discourse.

The ongoing fight between BB fans and Ivette started when she took to her Ivette Corredero Twitter account to share emails titled, "Big Brother 22 Background Questionnaire." This was Ivette's way of subtly suggesting that she had been considered for this season of All-Stars. Instead of getting fans on her side, Ivette began to receive various tweets recalling her prejudiced statements about Kaysar during BB6. In response, Ivette decided to DM a particular fan, @KINGKAYSAR, and provide her reaction to what was being said. In the lengthy message, Ivette noted that she was 25-years-old during BB6, but was now 40, and was raising two children. Ivette also added, "I understand that those who adore Kaysar see no wrong. However, to me, he wasn't very nice." It is important to note that Ivette's message did not address the direct accusations made about her statements and did not provide an apology of any kind. On Twitter, Ivette also replied to a few Kaysar from BB's fans saying, "I'm not a racist and I will defend that to the end. I have my opinions and when I'm feeling attacked, I have the right to defend myself." While it is fair for Ivette to share her opinions about Kaysar and her experiences from Big Brother 6, it certainly seems like she is failing to acknowledge the statements that she is actually being accused of.  Hopefully, Kaysar's fans and Ivette will be able to reach common ground in the near future.

While BB alumni and fans fight on the outside, Big Brother 22: All-Stars is keeping things moving. As a well-known veteran player, Kaysar is already being targeted by houseguests who see his strategy as a threat. Nonetheless, the fans are hoping that Kaysar will go farther than he ever has on this season.
