Batwoman has already set up the next Arrowverse crossover - a World's Finest team-up with Supergirl. Crisis on Infinite Earths has transformed the Arrowverse, moving all the different shows - BatwomanSupergirlArrowThe FlashLegends of Tomorrow, and even Black Lightning - on to the same Earth. As such, future team-ups are easier than ever before.

The most likely team-up, of course, is between Supergirl and Batwoman. The dynamic between the two heroes has been a strong one since Batwoman's introduction in 2018's Elseworlds event, and Crisis on Infinite Earths devoted a lot of time to showing the two work together. Batwoman has already chosen to call on Supergirl for help, giving her a CatCo exclusive where the Dark Knight of Gotham came out of the closest as a lesbian.

Naturally, viewers were focused on the headline - "Batwoman Reveals Herself AS A LESBIAN." But it's worth checking the other blurbs on the cover, because one of them sets up the next World's Finest team-up. The main headline reads "What's Next For Lena?" Text below reveals that Lena Luthor has been spotted in Gotham. Lena is the sister of Lex, and she's gradually been transformed into one of Supergirl's most dangerous villains, just as fearsome a threat as her brother.

The relationship between Supergirl and Lena Luthor has become increasingly strained. Although Lena and Kara were originally close friends, Lena felt betrayed when she learned Kara was really Supergirl. Years of mistreatment, from both friends and family, had left Lena convinced that nobody could truly be trusted. She'd finally let her guard down with Kara, and was beginning to open up when she discovered everything she thought she knew about her friend was a lie. The perceived betrayal has twisted Lena, turning her into Supergirl's potential nemesis - made even worse by the fact Kara is still struggling to accept that change.

Crisis on Infinite Earths has rewritten the Luthors' story, placing Lex and Lena in charge of the DEO. It seems Lena is already taking advantage of this position to expand her sphere of influence, and she's headed over to Gotham City for undisclosed reasons. Whatever Lena's intentions may be, no doubt they won't be good news for Supergirl. And that neatly sets up the next Arrowverse crossover or team-up - with the World's Finest working together to uncover the truth.

It will probably be quite some time before the Arrowverse attempt any team-ups on the scale of Crisis on Infinite Earths again. In truth, that's for the better, because you really need years of build-up in order to capitalize on something like Crisis. However, smaller-scale team-ups and crossovers are clearly on the cards now all the characters exist on the same Earth; that was likely the main reason for the change. With Supergirl and Batwoman already airing back-to-back, in scheduling terms more World's Finest team-ups make perfect sense.
