Although Battlefield 6's expected reveal remains official kept under wraps by EA, the audio for the reveal trailer has allegedly leaked in full. Although the leaked audio sounds like a garble of explosions and set piece moments akin to a Michael Bay film, there are a number of key audio cues that hint at what's to come, and a couple elements seem to confirm earlier rumors and leaks.

The Battlefield 6 trailer was rumored to drop May 6, but it never happened. EA is still mum on when the 2021 entry will be revealed, but it's still expected before the month's end given previous comments from the publisher and the lead up to E3 in June. That said, there's still next to no details, so fans are picking apart the recently leaked audio from the trailer.

Alleged audio from the Battlefield 6 reveal trailer was posted by Reddit user WalrusOwner, and it was confirmed to be authentic by journalist Tom Henderson. That said, it seems to be unfinished, which may be why its missing dialogue. One notable element featured in the leaked audio is the sound of a rocket or missile launch toward the minute-and-a-half file's end. Recently, screenshots supposedly leaked from the Battlefield 6 trailer showing a tornado at a rocket launch pad. It's entirely possible the tornado will rip the rocket apart, causing some of the series' patented destruction and warzone chaos.

Of course, this could just be a series of noises edited together, but a reputable industry insider has corroborated it. Still, it's worth taking it and past laeaks with a grain of salt until EA does officially reveal this year's Battlefield. Regardless, rumors and leaks for seem to indicate a previously unmatched level scale of destruction that point to Battlefield 4 sequel rumors possibly being true. Having a tornado that rips through the map causing endless problems for players would be a great way to showcase what a new generation of Battlefield is capable of. Whether or not there's a narrative reason for such extreme weather event (such as climate change due to Battlefield 6's reported 2030 settings) is unknown.

EA has its quarterly earnings call on May 11, so it's possible that the publisher will drop the trailer early next week and start hyping up its presence at an EA Play event later this summer. Regardless, Battlefield 6 is coming this holiday season and should prove to be a massive deal. Not only is EA investing tons of resources and time into the game, but its also rumored to be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch, which would be a major get for Microsoft.
