The Batman Who Laughs and his Dark Knights from across the Dark Multiverse were recently brought to life in a stunning cosplay at New York Comic Con 2021. The twisted versions of Bruce Wayne assembled in a superb photo with the character's creators Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, which showed off their incredible costumes with each cosplayer representing one of the Dark Knights.

The Dark Knights first appeared in the Dark Nights: Metal event at DC Comics, with each villain appearing in a different crossover book. In the comics, the Dark Knights were assembled by Barbatos and represented the most twisted versions of Bruce Wayne from the Dark Multiverse. Each villain was taken from their Earth before it was destroyed. The Dark Knights consist of The Batman Who Laughs (Joker/Batman), The Drowned (Aquaman/Batman), The Dawnbreaker (Green Lantern/Batman), The Merciless (Ares/Batman), The Devastator (Doomsday/Batman), The Murder Machine (Cyborg/Batman), and The Red Death (Flash/Batman). The different Dark Knights have their own unique looks that reference both Batman and the heroes/villains they were based on. The most popular Dark Knight, The Batman Who Laughs, played a key role in the recent Dark Nights: Death Metal event and was just added as a skin in Fortnite.

On her Twitter account, @AlliZCosplay shared a group photo (@paladinsofcosplay) with Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, which features the different Dark Knights from across the Dark Multiverse. The details in each of the Dark Knights cosplays are spot-on. Everything from the masks, to the costumes, to the weapons are straight out of the comics. Plus, their version of the Devastator is appropriately tall and stands above the rest of the Dark Knights, as he should. What's also chilling is the Batman Who Laughs sitting in the front of the group shot with a terrifying smile on his face.

For those who want to take a closer look at the Dark Knights cosplays from Death Metal, the @paladinsofcosplay also shared a music video that showcases further details with the costumes and weapons - including a number of them that light up and have other cool features. The Instagram handles for the cosplayers in the @paladinsofcosplay group are @Outlaw2lk, @mjcosplay_, @CJpropstudio, @critical.mask.cosplay, @goldendragoncosplay, @captainsalute, @its.fabian, and @allizcosplay.

The @paladinsofcosplay's Dark Knights is one of the best group cosplays we've ever seen. The looks are both terrifying and amazing while impressively showing off the incredible designs of each villain. Batman Who Laughs and his Dark Knights have never looked scarier in real life.
