Warning! Spoilers for Batman Superman: World's Finest #4 by DC Comics

In their latest adventures, Batman and Superman just merged into one single hero with one of the coolest costumes in DC Comics. In Batman Superman: World's Finest #4, the two Justice League heroes fuse with the Green Lantern's Power Ring to become a singular hero with the powers of Superman, Batman, and the Green Lantern. The combined hero quickly proves to be one of the comic's best-looking characters, with a perfect logo.

Batman and Superman are forced to face off against some of their greatest allies, as the Devil Nezha, a magical villain unleashed after thousands of years of imprisonment, has used his powers to turn the heroes against them. Most notably, the villain used magic to make Green Lantern's construct powers super effective against the Man of Steel, leading the hero bloodied after a confrontation with the mind-controlled Hal Jordan. To stop the heroes, Batman and Superman merged into a combination hero with one of the coolest costumes and logos for either character.

In Batman/Superman World's Finest #4 by Mark Waid, Dan Mora, Tamra Bonvillain, and Aditya Bidikar by DC Comics, Batman and Superman discover the only way to beat the mind-controlled magical Green Lantern is to strip him of his Power Ring. With Hal Jordan's willpower changed due to the Devil Nezha's influence, the heroes manage to get the powerful ring off his finger, leading to a lantern fusion that combines Batman and Superman's form with their powers and abilities and those from the Power Ring. Ultimately, they become merged heroes with a fantastic costume designed by Dan Mora.

BATMAN SUPERMAN MERGED HERO

The costume looks stellar. The red Batman-like mask, the armor elements, the blue torso, and the Green Lantern-powered hands make for quite an ensemble. However, the most extraordinary aspect of the Batman and Superman combined hero's new suit is his logo, which brilliantly merges the iconic symbols into a single emblem, as both the S-symbol and bat-symbol become one. In addition, the bold decision to go without a cape almost makes the look even more unique. The costume merges Superman, Batman, and a touch of Green Lantern but creates something new altogether.

While Batman and Superman's merged form only lasts for a limited amount of time in the issue before they get split, it beautifully captures the iconic heroes and their costume designs while forging something new. Dan Mora hit a home run with the combination hero's costume and logo. Readers can see the Batman and Superman's costume in full as as Batman/Superman World's Finest #4 by DC Comics is in comic book stores now.
