Gotham City is adding some more villains (or heroes) as DC Comics provided a closer look at new characters heading to the world of Batman. Along with familiar faces like Punchline and the Designer, James Tynion IV and Jorge Jimenez's upcoming Batman arc will feature some all-new faces.

On Tuesday, DC revealed eight different card stock variants for the next eight issues of Batman. The different variants are all done by Jimenez and showcase new characters' designs, classic villains, and heroes, as well as two new faces to Gotham. The card stock variants will be the 1:25 variant from Punchline's that was released today, to a yet-to-be-revealed cover for Batman #100. In the variants, we get a closer look at the new character's Clownhunter as well as the Underbroker.

The Underbroker made his first appearance in this week's Batman #92. He dresses sharp, wearing a red pinstripe suit and a mask similar to Watchmen's Looking Glass, as the Underbroker has an appropriate name considering he's all about money and making deals. Harley Quinn and Catwoman first encounter the new villain as Selina Kyle attempts to make a withdrawal from her account. She states she's a member of the Underbroker's club and is in good standing. When Harley and Catwoman get face-to-face with the Underbroker, he tells them their deal has a conflict of interest, as his underground layer has also been visited by Joker's men and Punchline. As Harley and Punchline duke it out, Catwoman tracks down the Underbroker, who's real name is Harlan Graves, a rich lawyer. She threatens him with the warning Batman will take him down, which prompts him to open his vault "to make you very, very rich."

Next up is Clownhunter. There haven't been many details shared about the character so far, but considering his name and the fact he's got a Batarang tied to a baseball bat, it would seem he might be on team Batman. Plus, his name is Clownhunter - so, perhaps, he's got a bone to pick with Joker or Punchline. Although, he could be a villain with an ironic name.

In a short time, Tynion IV and Jimenez have expanded the world of Batman with some intriguing new characters. The Underbroker and Clownhunter both have very interesting designs and could play integral roles in what's to come in the 'Joker War.' It will be fascinating to see how they fit in Gotham.
