DC Comics' new Batman will see his story continue in I Am Batman, which will follow Tim "Jace" Fox as he begins his time as the Dark Knight. In a new preview for the upcoming series, Fox can be seen wearing his new Batsuit, as he prepares to fight crime and show he belongs as DC's other Caped Crusader.
Fox's Batman debuted in DC's Future State timeline, where the son of longtime Batman ally Lucius Fox became the new Dark Knight who fought against the oppressive Magistrate. Jace got his own solo series in DC's digital-first, Batman: Second Son. That story showcased Fox's backstory before becoming Batman and ended with the discovery his father was working alongside the hero - as he finds a Batsuit in an abandoned armory. Jace's rise as a hero will be showcased in the upcoming I Am Batman series.
In new solicits for I Am Batman #1 by John Ridley and Olivier Coipel, DC teases a "new and improved" Batsuit for Jace. The new Batman will be taking to the streets of Gotham and follow the case of the Anti-Oracle, who is spreading misinformation and violence throughout the city. Jace will fight against the Anti-Oracle's plan to inspire an "armed rebellion" in the city. The Anti-Oracle will be a new villain who's going to be featured in multiple Batman titles, including James Tynion IV and Jorge Jimenez's Fear State arc. The villain will use fake news to incite violence and cause chaos in Gotham. Check out the main cover for I Am Batman #1 by Coipel below.

DC Comics also revealed a variant cover to I Am Batman #1 from Francesco Mattina, where Batman is sitting on a motorcycle while brooding.
Lastly, DC Comics revealed a 1:25 incentive variant cover for I Am Batman from Kael Ngu, which features the Magistrate (or Gotham PD) pointing a flashlight at Batman. The cover may be an homage to the iconic Batman #9.

With Jace Fox's adventures continuing towards the Batman readers got to see in Future State, it will be interesting to see how he fits alongside Bruce Wayne's Dark Knight and how he forges his own path as a hero. Jace's time as Batman in Gotham City will begin when John Ridley and Olivier Coipel's new series, I Am Batman, comes to comic book shops on September 14, 2021.
