As 4K resolution should accomplish, everything pops out. From Batman's suit, to the Riddler's onscreen appearance, the detail is impeccable. If anything, this version of the trailer will make viewers even more hyped to see the film. One of the biggest parts of the trailer is establishing the Riddler as the main antagonist. Reeves talked very positively about Paul Dano's performance as the villain, going as far to saying this version of the character is unlike any Riddler that has come before. This looks to be a far cry from Jim Carrey's portrayal of the Riddler in Batman Forever.

Of course, Riddler isn't the only villain featured in the trailer. Fan also finally see Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, who gets a few key scenes. It will be interesting seeing where her character arc goes in this version of the Batman universe. Those looking to get more content in the new continuity can look forward to HBO Max's Gotham PD prequel show, which takes place during the Caped Crusader's first year on the job. The Batman is establishing a grand new version of the title character. So far, everything is pointing to it being a welcome take.
