Update: More Batman movie set photos reveal Robert Pattinson's full costume and Bruce Wayne's Batcycle.

New The Batman set photos reveal the inclusion of an abandoned location in Gotham. Production on the DC movie Matt Reeves wrote and is directing is currently in full swing. Starring Robert Pattinson as the latest actor to play Bruce Wayne following Ben Affleck's exit, the Warner Bros. project boasts a star-studded ensemble cast including Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Colin Farrell as The Penguin.

Initially set to star Affleck's older and hardened version of the character, things changed when the actor decided to exit the DCEU for good. This paved the way for Reeves to come in and cast the younger English thespian for the role. Plot details for The Batman remain tightly under wraps, but the director finally gave fans a glimpse of the film's Caped Crusader with the reveal of Pattinson's Batman costume exciting fans. Aside from that, set images have continued to make their way online, providing clues as to what to expect from the film - the latest of which reveal a filming location.

Shared on Instagram by Fellowship of the Cairns - a group of Scotland-based mountaineers - is a string of images from their latest adventure to Lanarkshire, Scotland where filming for The Batman was supposedly taking place. The snaps feature what looks like a weathered sign that reads "GOTHAM RENEWAL CORPORATION" with the additional tagline "INVESTING IN OUR FUTURE GOTHAM ORPHANAGE." Some of the additional images they shared during their visit at the site is a look at the upper half of the Batsuit seen from the window of a trailer. Check out the photos below:

It's difficult to gauge what's exactly the reason behind the sign, especially since there's no context given. However, considering its physical status, coupled with the fact that its surrounding environment looks pretty much deserted, there's a chance that the corporation may no longer be operating. Whether or not it has something to do with The Batman's story is a big mystery, after all, Bruce comes from a wealthy family, so the organization may have ties to him or his clan. Otherwise, this can simply be a random banner in one of the city's dingy pockets where a face-off with Batman and a foe could take place. This also makes sense considering Pattinson's Batman suit was on the set during the source's visit of the site.

Prior to this batch of images, photos of Pattinson's Bruce was seen getting assaulted by a mysterious Gotham gang with peculiar face paint on. Like these aforementioned snaps, there's no context given to those photos so it's quite difficult to predict what's going on exactly. In any case, with a release date for June next year, it may not be too long until Warner Bros. begin marketing The Batman. Perhaps a very early trailer could be ready in time for Wonder Woman 1984's release or even this year's San Diego Comic-Con.
