The latest set photo from The Batman might tease the existence of Flash in Matt Reeves' DC movie. Following the exit of Ben Affleck as the Dark Knight and before his return for The Flash, Warner Bros. and DC Films reshaped The Batman to move forward without him. Reeves was brought on to direct and Robert Pattinson was chosen to play a new Bruce Wayne. Fans received an early first look at The Batman with a teaser trailer debuting during DC FanDome.

Before viewers got a chance to see what Reeves and Pattinson's take on The Batman would look like, one of the biggest questions surrounding the film was how or if it was connected to the DC Extended Universe. It has since been confirmed that The Batman exists in a separate universe but is still tangentially related through the multiverse. This led many to believe that Pattinson's Batman would be the only major DC hero to appear. However, a recent set photos teased Superman and Wonder Woman exist in The Batman's world, and now there's potentially more evidence of another Justice League hero being around.

Production on The Batman is shifting to Chicago soon and has resulted in set and prop design already taking place. The set is currently not closed and has allowed some to roam through what will soon become Gotham. Fox 32 News anchor Jake Hamilton walked through the set and shared a few photos of Chicago's transformation into Gotham, and one is particularly noteworthy. Hamilton shared a photo of a ripped flier and a piece that is left includes a logo that is incredibly similar to that of the DC superhero Flash.

At first glance, this logo isn't a direct match to Flash's usual logo, although the single bolt design does have similarities to early logos used for Flash in the comics. Even without a direct translation from the comics, Reeves has already shown a willingness to put his own spin on logos, with Batman's logo being an original design for the film. The same could be true for this potential Flash Easter egg, as it doesn't match what Ezra Miller's Flash wears. This shouldn't be too surprising since The Batman takes place in a separate universe, but this would indicate that another version of Flash exists in this universe if this is an Easter egg for the Scarlet Speedster.

Since there is still a chance that this lightning bolt isn't connected to Flash, fans should temper expectations for the time being. However, this possible Flash Easter egg and the apparent existence of Superman and Wonder Woman points to The Batman taking place in a world where Batman isn't the only superhero around. Reeves might not build his own DC shared universe with new versions of Superman, Flash, and more, but perhaps The Batman will include other major DC heroes as the franchise moves forward.
