New images from The Batman show off looks at Selina Kyle, The Riddler, Robert Pattinson's Batsuit, and the Batmobile. The Matt Reeves directed picture has faced numerous delays due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The Batman was originally set for release this June before being pushed back into October. When Dune took its fall release date, The Batman made March 2022 its home. Production continued on the film into the early months of 2021 and details about its plot have been kept under wraps.

What little is known about the film is exciting - The Batman will feature a slew of villains, including Colin Farrell's Penguin, Paul Dano's Riddler, and Zoë Kravitz's Catwoman. The film will follow Pattinson's Bruce Wayne in his second year of crimefighting in Gotham, during which he is still getting used to balancing his vigilante life with his regular life. The Batman is set outside of the main DCEU timeline, meaning it won't have the constraints of fitting within that franchise and can be its own thing.

This has led The Batman to have a distinct visual style, as evidenced by the recently shared images. Via Robert Pattinson Photos on Twitter, the images are from a calendar for The Batman. Catwoman can be seen as one of the pages of the calendar, with Riddler occupying another. Other images also show off the Batmobile. The 12-month calendar is for 2022, meaning this merchandise could release before the end of the year. Check out the images below:

Seeing as very little information has come out about the film, sans for what was shown in The Batman's first trailer, any tidbit of information is gratifying. While the calendar doesn't give away much, it does show off a closer look at Riddler's eerie mask, which some have said has a Zodiac Killer look to it. Selina Kyle is also featured, but it seems the movie may be saving the reveal of her catsuit for the film or an eventual second trailer, as Kravitz's role is maybe one of the most exciting in the film.

Still, the most interesting thing is the glimpse of the Batmobile. The look seems to have been changed from the tank-like Batmobile fans have grown used to. Instead, Pattinson's looks to be in the vein of a classic muscle car. This further proves that Reeves' vision for The Batman is unlike anything that has been seen from the Caped Crusader in the 21st century, leading to even more excitement about what's in store for the Pattinson-led film.
