It appears as if the long-awaited reveal of the next core Batman game (presumably being developer by WB Montreal) is set for its reveal very soon. Gamers and DC fans alike have been chomping at the bit after a handful of teases for the next Batman video game were posted on Twitter by several members of the aforementioned studio based out of the Canadian province of Québec. This would be the third Batman-related video game spearheaded by WB Montreal, following the developer's work on the Wii U version of Batman: Arkham City and the more widely supported Batman: Arkham Origins.

While some teases and leaks have all but confirmed details on the plot will be centered around the 'Batfamily' and perhaps even the infamous Court of Owls faction, no one outside of the studio has seen anything else on the project. While several teases from WB Montreal had led some to believe that a reveal was imminent, these never really panned out. Although, upon the announcement of the DC FanDome event, it became clear which platform Warner Bros has lined up for the Batman game's unveiling.

While expected at the showcase, fans had been restlessly awaiting a time for the new Batman title's reveal. Fortunately, the schedule for the DC FanDome event has finally been dropped, confirming that WB Montreal will reveal its newest project on  Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:30pm EST. The panel will run for approximately 20 minutes and feature the reveal of the new game, as well as a Q&A segment with its developers. All of this is to say that the patience of eager fans will soon be rewarded.

Despite the fact that the announcement isn't officially confirmed to be a brand-new Batman game, the past teases from the studio have been enough to more or less give the game's identity away at this point. It has also long been rumored that DC's FanDome event would be the spot where WB Games' Batman title will be revealed in the past, so everything appears to be lining up rather perfectly. Even then, there's more that gamers and DC fans can anticipate during the big show.

The officially confirmed Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League game will also be showcased on the exact same day for DC FanDome. Suffice it to say, there is a lot going on that fans of the caped crusader and his rogue's gallery can look forward to.
