The DCEU is only just beginning, and even with some important roles already being cast, there are plenty of characters waiting to make their way onto the big screen. One of those was recently realized when Joe Manganiello was cast as Deathstroke in Ben Affleck's The Batman. With Affleck onboard to star and direct, Manganiello has been tasked causing trouble for the Dark Knight.

The only other character that is sure to be involved in the film is Commissioner Gordon (J.K. Simmons), which means there are plenty of supporting roles waiting to be filled after the script is completed. Even though there has been no evidence that Robin will be involved in The Batman or any other DCEU film, Anna Kendrick recently (and seemingly jokingly) expressed her desire to play the role. Soon after, Manganiello backed this movement with a recent post of the two, and now fans can see what they could look like together in costume.

BossLogic is back with another image that brings these characters together. The artist took Manganiello's Instagram post to showcase the actor in full Deathstroke costume and what Kendrick could look like as Robin.

While the image itself is a fun way to visualize the hope of Kendrick playing Robin, fans will have to wait and see if this ever materializes to anything more than just the usual hopes of an actor. She just appeared in The Accountant alongside Affleck and Simmons, so she has those early DC connections to make it possible. If Affleck enjoyed the time with her on set and has a female lead or supporting role in his film, an announcement down the road that Kendrick has officially joined the universe will not be as shocking as it would have been a few weeks ago. In the meantime, fans will just have to wait and see if the picture ever becomes a reality. This exact pose is unlikely, but Batman will have his hands full with Deathstroke, so getting the help of Robin would make sense.

Suicide Squad is now playing in theaters. Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; an untitled DC Film on October 5, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; an untitled DC film on November 1, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The FlashThe BatmanDark Universe and Man of Steel 2 are currently without a release dates.
