The love story between Batman and Catwoman has finally locked into place, with both equally committing to spending their lives together. But how will their marriage change... now that Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne have discovered they're about to become parents?

While the main Batman comic book has been handed off to a new creative team -- where Bruce and Selina are now united in rebuilding Gotham City -- their 85-issue tale from writer Tom King is set to continue in their own Batman/Catwoman series beginning later this year. King himself previously dropped the bombshell reveal that Batman and Catwoman are having a baby. And while you don't need to be the world's greatest detective to figure out how it's happened, but it's what comes next that fans will be desperate to know. At least now, thanks to an early preview from DC Comics, fans can witness the very moment Batman and Catwoman learn they're expecting.

As fans who have followed the coming Bat/Cat series already know, artist Clay Mann will be drawing every one of the issues (one more way the team hopes to deliver their own Dark Knight Returns-esque standalone story). Fans will have some time to wait before that story begins, but can get an early look at the drama in story, thanks to Tom King, Mikel Janín, and Jordie Bellaire's short story, included in the forthcoming Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super-Spectacular. Thankfully DC has released a few pages, showing Bruce and Selina are in for a whole new type of adventure. Take a look:

Catwoman Batman Pregnant Comic Preview 3

While some heroes might treat a pregnancy and marital bliss as good news, the fans of Tom King's Batman run know things are never that simple. Especially for two people who decided on the people they wanted to be long ago... and neither had 'parent' in the description. So as Selina muses on becoming a house cat instead of a wild one, is she speaking honestly -- or just refusing to accept the truth? The series is sure to explore this idea in depth, but fans can enjoy this appetizer (and historic moment in Batman history) when the anniversary edition arrives this April.
