Election Day is finally over and Kanye West from Keeping Up With The Kardashians has received the results from his bid for the presidency. The rapper and fashion mogul received some of the lowest voter numbers among the list of presidential hopefuls.

Many were surprised when Kanye announced his presidential campaign back in July. While he didn't do as much physical campaigning as other candidates, he held one rally in South Carolina in August, appeared in a few press interviews, and sent out countless tweets promoting his "2020 Vision." However, after he missed the filing date for a number of states, Kanye West was only allowed to be a write-in candidate within 12 states. In California, he was listed as a vice-presidential candidate for the Independent Party, but according to reports, this was done without his consent. The Yeezy founder had been asking voters to write him in as president on their ballots.

According to Deadline, Kanye received around 60,000 votes in total across 12 USA states. While the rapper did rank number four in some state races, the outlet reports that his percentage of the vote was never past .04%. Early on Election Day, Kanye sent out a tweet letting his followers know that it was his very first time voting and that he was voting for himself. "God is so good," he said with a smiley face emoji. God is so good 😊 Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust...me. 🇺🇸 🕊

"Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust...me." On Tuesday night, Kanye sent out another tweet conceding his bid and announcing his 2024 run. "Welp, Kanye 2024," he captioned a tweet with a photo of him standing in front of a US election map. On November 4, he tweeted "Kanye 2024", as seen below:

The Associated Press released the "Stronger" rapper's voter results for the 12 states he was qualified to run for president in. In Arkansas, he received 4040 votes, Colorado garnered him 6,127 votes, in Idaho, he received 3092 votes, while in Iowa he received slightly more (3,197 votes). In Southern states, Kim Kardashian's husband Kanye West received 6,259 votes in Kentucky, 4,894 votes in Louisiana, 3,117 votes in Mississippi, 5,590 votes in Oklahoma, and a whopping 10,195 votes in Tennesse. In Northern states, he received 7,654 votes in Minnesota, 1,255 votes in Vermont, and 4,311 from western voters in Utah.

Despite how low his election results were, he did get some votes. Many critics were surprised that he was able to do as well as he did. At least Ye from Keeping Up with the Kardashians has some data to play with for his 2024 campaign.
