Fennec Shand is quite a recent addition to the Star Wars universe, but after her impressive introduction in The Mandalorian and her recent appearance in The Bad Batch, there are already so many more characters that fans would be love to see her interact with.

Thanks to her mysterious background, her career as a bounty hunter, and her future alliance with Boba Fett, there's already a lot to work with when it comes to this antihero. Some pre-existing players in the galaxy far, far away would be great foils for someone who seems confident in her abilities, professional in her role, and highly skilled with a distinct code.

Jango Fett

Jango Fett aims his blaster as Jedi fight behind him in Star Wars Attack of the Clones

Jango Fett is one of the deadliest bounty hunters in the galaxy. However, by the time Shand starts operating in the same circles, the Clone Wars are over and Fett has been killed by Mace Windu. A flashback would certainly be fascinating to explore a bond between Shand and Fett.

This would be compelling thanks to the relationship that Fennec Shand has with Boba Fett later on in Star Wars. Of course, it's possible that being a Clone himself, Boba Fett may work with the Bad Batch. However, a callback to a partnership between Fennec and Jango would be an important narrative connection.

Captain Rex

Rex and Jesse in Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Fans have plenty of questions surrounding the remainder of the series, but one thing is almost certain — Captain Rex will probably return. It's unclear exactly what he's up to during the rise of the Empire after going AWOL with Ahsoka Tano.

Fennec Shand and Captain Rex would make an intriguing partnership. Once again, her future team-up with the Clone Boba Fett would make this interaction interesting in its own right, but Shand also seems quite confused by the Clones who are no longer part of the Empire. In terms of their combat styles, they would also create a compelling conflict.

Grand Moff Tarkin

Star Wars Rebels Grand Moff Tarkin

Grand Moff Tarkin has played a vital role in The Bad Batch thus far and is an integral part of the Empire in general. Considering Fennec Shand's operations within the galaxy and the way in which she has flipped between both good and evil, an alliance with Tarkin would be exciting to watch.

She's clearly following out the bounty put on Clone Force 99 by Tarkin and his forces, but whether meeting him would make her change the way she operates remains to be seen — especially with a child involved. The heartlessness of Tarkin is far removed from that of Shand.

Darth Vader

Star Wars Darth-Vader-Clones

It's a bit of a rite of passage for a Star Wars character to cross paths with Vader at some stage. The Sith Lord is one of the most iconic creations in the franchise and his relationship with other bounty hunters is certainly complex. Vader has been shown to have a softer side, though.

His view of Ahsoka or Doctor Aphra, for instance, as well as his partnership with Boba Fett due to the memory of Rex, are all interesting wrinkles in Vader's personality. Fennec Shand may be another individual whom he comes to respect, although he could be one of the few entities that she could come to fear.

Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka Tano is currently in hiding after Grand Moff Tarkin would have a personal vendetta on her, not to mention that Order 66 is still in effect. It's unlikely that she'll show up in the first season of The Bad Batch but certainly not impossible.

Ahsoka can bring out the best in people, which is why it would be so important to see her cross paths with Fennec Shand. Both are extremely capable warriors, but while Ahsoka still tries to determine her place in this new galaxy, by contrast, Shand has finally found her own position.

Bossk

Bossk licks his lips in a Star Wars comic book.

Bossk is one of the most lethal bounty hunters in the galaxy. His methods are far more violent than that of Shand, and he is perhaps a superior hunter. However, she is far more dangerous with a sniper rifle than he could ever hope to be.

It would certainly be a thrill to see how a partnership between the two might work out. Bossk's methods might not sit well with Fennec Shand; alternatively, he could help take her to another level of the industry. It's plausible to see the two team up on the hunt for Clone Squad 99.

Aurra Sing

Aurra Sing is a veteran of the business. The bounty hunting world doesn't have nearly as many female operatives at a high level compared to males, and Sing can certainly testify as to how to work all the way to the top. Shand could learn a lot from her.

What's more, they share a similar skill set, both relying heavily on sniper rifles as their specialty. They would make for good allies, with Shand perhaps showing Sing a more compassionate path forward than she may be used to. It would also provide a great callback to previous animated shows.

Cad Bane

Cad Bane has been missing for quite some time. His fate is yet to be known in the Star Wars universe and it appears that Shand is taking the gap he has left in his absence. He's a great leader, though, and could hire Shand as part of his crew at some stage.

Watching Fennec work within that kind of environment under someone like Cad Bane would be a different side to her character. While she's partnered with Boba Fett before, fans haven't seen her as part of a larger squad yet — and Bane isn't the most loyal of leaders to follow.

Jabba The Hutt

Jabba the Hutt

Jabba the Hutt is dead by the time that Fennec Shand is on Tatooine in The Mandalorian but creating a shared history with the character would be some perfect foreshadowing. After all, Fett and Shand have now taken Jabba's throne and empire.

If she could see it operate first hand, getting up close and personal with the Hutt clans and indeed perhaps even operating for the crime lord at some stage, this knowledge would be incredibly useful when she later has a role to play in the running of a new criminal syndicate.

Barriss Offee

Fennec Shand is very aware of the conflicts between the Jedi and the Empire, adapting to a brand new world very quickly. She probably won't have come across too many force wielders, though, and would likely never have met a defector from the Order.

If there was anyone who could break Offee out of the Jedi prisons it's Shand, although she may be held in an Imperial facility now considering the changing leadership in place. Regardless, the dynamic between the two characters would be totally unique, as each brings their distinct point of view to the table.
