Cards allow players more customization to their loadouts in Back 4 Blood, and players can unlock them and get them through Supply Lines. Back 4 Blood is the newest zombie co-operative shooter to make its way through beta. Taking inspiration from the Left 4 Dead series, Back 4 Blood has players working together to navigate through levels riddled with zombies and their dangerous variants. While players can find weapons throughout the level and in the safe room at the start of a match, players can further push their customization with the new Card and deckbuilding system. These cards provide players additional buffs and tweaks that can be helpful during critical moments. Players will have access to a handful of Cards from the start, but they will need to unlock the rest throughout the campaign.

For example, the Living on a Prayer Card allows players to earn 1 HP for every kill they collect when their HP is low. This card can be game-changing in the right hands. Ultimately, players should aim to collect every Card they can so they can build the loadout of their dreams. This guide will show players all the different ways to earn Cards in Back 4 Blood.

How To Unlock Cards in Back 4 Blood

Back 4 Blood Cards Deckbuilding System Better Round Variety

There are a few different ways for players to unlock Cards in Back 4 Blood.

  • Looting Containers: Players will come across containers throughout the various levels in the game. They should make sure to loot every container they come across to find Cards. Cards can also be found inside vendor cases within the safe houses.
  • Copper: This is the main currency in the game and can be collected by playing the game normally. Players can find Copper in levels or earn it by taking out zombies. This currency can be used to purchase more Cards.
  • Supply Lines: This is located in the main menu, and players can spend their Supply Points here. It's a bit random what item the player will get by spending their Supply Points, but there is a chance that a tier has a Card.

The best way to get Cards is by playing through the game normally and clearing out Copper between each level. If there's a specific Card the player wants, saving Copper would be the best and most efficient way to get it. The type of Card the player may require may depend on their playstyles, selected character, and build. Still, players may want to collect every card to create the ultimate deck.
