Nick Peterson first appeared on The Bachelorette season 7, which premiered on May 23, 2011. The personal trainer was competing for Ashley Hebert's heart with 24 other men. He didn't win the season and was sent home during week 5. In July 2012, he again featured on Bachelor Pad season 3 and won the season. Later on, he was cast for Bachelor in Paradise season 2. By the end of the season, he had formed a connection with Samantha Steffen.

The Florida native Nick became very popular when he featured on The Bachelorette. The show is beloved by viewers and gets plenty of media exposure through insider Reality Steve and other sources. Although he was eliminated in the week five rose ceremony, he left a good impression on the audience during the roast date. All the contestants were supposed to roast The Bachelorette Ashley (not to be confused with Ashley Iaconetti, who appeared on The Bachelor season 19). However, Nick played it safe and only made fun of the other guys. He was looking forward to having a future with Ashley but was really bummed out to learn that she didn't feel the same way. Later on, he embraced the "villain" character and eventually won a quarter of a million dollars on Bachelor Pad. He also found love with Beverly Hills, California resident Samantha. The couple left Bachelor in Paradise hand in hand.

Since then, he has been actively posting on social media about his day to day life. According to his Instagram feed, the BIP alum appears to be single at the moment. According to Nick's Facebook profile, he is now working as a video creator. He enjoys making short comedy, travel, and personal vlogs on his Nick Peterson YouTube channel. In one of his videos, he briefly mentioned "OnlyFans," so it's possible that as a digital content creator, he might want to explore that option as well. One of the former The Bachelorette contestants, Chad Johnson, has joined the content sharing platform. He is reportedly earning 40K a month for sharing adult content on the site.
