Tyler Cameron of The Bachelor franchise is giving fans an update on his friendship with former Bachelor Matt James. Fans met Tyler when he competed in Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette. Before Matt was named the lead of The Bachelor season 25, he became known to Bachelor Nation as was Tyler's best friend. When the pandemic hit in 2020, Instagram pages started to fill with photos of the "quarantine crew," a group that included Tyler, Matt, and former Bachelorette, Hannah, bunked up together in Tyler's home for the first part of lockdown.

After gaining massive popularity, Matt got the spot as the first Black lead on The Bachelor season 25. Though his season filled with huge drama while it aired, Matt gave Rachael Kirkconnell his final rose, and they became one of the strongest couples to come out of the series in recent years. After some hiccups post-filming, Rachael and Matt are going strong and have been for almost the past two years. As Matt's relationship with Rachael has heated up, fans see more and more evidence of Tyler and Matt's bromance cooling way down.

Now Tyler is finally opening up about where he and Matt stand after months of speculations from the public. Opening up to Us Weekly, Tyler admitted that he and Matt might not spend as much time together as fans are used to. Tyler attributed it to getting older and maturing, saying, "I think it's part of growing up. It's part of entering a relationship." In more detail, he stated, "We all have those friends that they grow up, they start dating their person, they get married, they do their thing and you see him when you see him." Rumors have swirled that the change in the men's friendship has more to do with former Bachelor Matt's girlfriend Rachael and how she clicks with Tyler as the more significant problem.

Tyler is no longer shying away from admitting that he and Rachael will likely not be labeled best friends any time soon. Having stated that the pair had a love-hate relationship, Tyler is now giving fans more details. "I don't like listening to people sometimes, and she's strong and she has a really good opinion on a lot of things," Tyler admitted. "...sometimes I don't want to hear it. I think we clash just because we're both passionate people in what we believe in. But we've also learned from each other, so that's good." The former Bachelor Nation star may not get along great with Rachael, but he respects his friend's decision. "I think they're good for each other. They keep each other happy and keep each other going and that's what's important."

Tyler Cameron has been a standout in Bachelor Nation and fan favorite since he first appeared on television. His friendship with Matt James quickly became one of the things fans most longed to see him post about. Viewers may need to look back through old photos to get their Matt and Tyler fix, as the two guys don't seem close to having a photo op soon. It is hard to believe, after Tyler has finally given his details on the change of relationship with Matt, that Rachael won't come back with many opinions of her own. Rachel is known for keeping her thoughts out of the public's view, but long-time fans of The Bachelor franchise shouldn't expect these three to grab a dinner filled with friendly laughs any time soon.
