The first-ever Bachelorette, Trista, is having a hard time watching her husband suffer. She has openly supported her husband Ryan as he struggles to find a diagnosis. The fireman has been having ongoing health problems, with many questioning what has inflicted him. The couple married in a sweet ceremony back in 2003 and now have two children together. The couple has been updating fans on all his tests through their social media accounts. Some of the tests have included cancer screenings and COVID-19. At the time, the cancer tests were negative, but he did end up having a bout of coronavirus.
In May, the reality TV couple was told that Ryan had Lyme Disease. Trista was recently a guest on the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast, where she pulled back the curtain regarding the family’s struggle. As expected, Trista has also had a hard time dealing with the stress and worry, telling the hosts, “It’s been hard.” But Bachelor Nation is proud to know that she is coping and sticking by her man in his time of need.
On the June 29 episode, Trista shared that their road has been difficult because she wanted him to be better, saying, “I want him to wake up feeling great. I want him to be able to spend time with our family and make memories. And when you don't feel good, it just takes away from life." During the interview, she admitted that she was struggling a lot, and the pandemic hadn’t helped. Between all the doctor appointments and insurance companies, Trista has worried about her two teenagers, Maxwell and Blakesley, who have held it together pretty well, according to the star.
Trista’s main focus is making sure her two children have a good summer and school year ahead. Bachelor Nation fans have emphasized with the family as it must have been difficult to watch a strong man become weak and emotional due to his illness. Bachelorette fans are just happy that the couple had a diagnosis to work with so that Ryan can start to mend and be his old self once again.
