Former Bachelorette star Tayshia Adams is stepping away from her podcast co-hosting duties. Introduced to Bachelor Nation as a contestant on season 23 of The Bachelor, Tayshia was one of the final two ladies left competing for Colton Underwood's love; as one of the more controversial seasons, Colton chose Cassie Randolph as the winner (without proposing) before eventually coming out as gay. As a well-liked contestant, Tayshia appeared on season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise and engaged in an on-off relationship with John Paul Jones before officially calling things off in late 2019. After Clare Crawley left during The Bachelorette's 16th season, Tayshia was chosen as her replacement; filmed during the first wave of COVID-19, her rising popularity led to her being named as co-host for seasons 17 and 18.

Bachelor Nation hosts three podcasts: Click Bait, Bachelor: Happy Hour, and Talking it Out. Click Bait, which began its run last October, focuses on pop culture gossip and news, which a new guest star appearing each episode. Bachelor: Happy Hour, which only premiered a few months ahead, is largely the same, although this podcast focuses more on the behind-the-scenes of Bachelor Nation. Co-hosting Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette with fellow alumni Kaitlyn Bristowe, Tayshia first surprised fans when she missed the finale due to exposure to COVID. Despite the hiccup, viewers continued to praise the two women: Tayshia for her co-hosting throughout the season, and Kaitlyn for being able to adapt at the last minute.

Unfortunately, Tayshia is once again forfeiting her job as a host, as she has ended her relationships with two of Bachelor Nation's podcasts. Click Bait and Bachelor: Happy Hour have announced Tayshia's exits in completely different ways; while Click Bait's switch from Tayshia to Tia Booth—who was on season 22 of The Bachelor—was revealed publicly, Bachelor: Happy Hour has been quietly changing behind the scenes. According to People, Joe Amabile from Bachelorette season 14 announced the news during their last episode, saying, "Before we get into the Bachelor Nation breakdown, we have some news. We've seen your messages and DMs, and we do have a host update for you guys. We send Tayshia our best and our love and would like to officially welcome Tia [Booth] as our new cohost of Click Bait." Bachelor: Happy Hour has not made a statement on where Tayshia stands, but the official Bachelor Nation website states that "Now, Becca [Kufrin] is joined each week by a guest co-host."

Tayshia deciding to leave comes two months after officially separating from Zac Clark, the winner of her Bachelorette season. As first reported by People, Tayshia and Zac went their separate ways a year after she accepted his proposal. A source confirmed on November 22 that "Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark are no longer a couple" which happened to be the same day Tayshia filmed a Men Tell All special. Talking to Kaitlyn about the breakup, the 31-year-old said at the time, "All in all, all I have to say is that I'm heartbroken...we tried really hard and I still love him very much."

While Tayshia has not commented much on her personal life these past couple of weeks, she is still active within the Bachelor Nation community. With an open invitation to potentially co-host more seasons of The Bachelorette, Tayshia Adams's popularity means that if she wants to stay a part of the franchise, she will. With her Instagram bio still listing her as a co-host of the show,  Tayshia is not completely done with Bachelor Nation just yet.
