Tayshia Adams from The Bachelorette made her first public appearance since her break-up with fiancée Zac Clark. The reality star met her ex-beau while filming her season of the ABC spin-off during the summer 0f 2020 when she replaced Clare Crawley as the lead. While the couple didn't have an instant connection on night one, they developed one quickly as the season progressed. By the end of her season, Tayshia realized Zac was the one, and he proposed.
After the season ended, Tayshia and Zac found an apartment together in New York City, where the pair mainly lived. Tayshia would fly back and forth from NYC to Orange County but mainly stayed in the city with her fiancé. Despite living together, Tayshia was away a lot due to her commitment as the co-host of the following two seasons of The Bachelorette. The distance was a huge issue in their relationship that neither was able to compromise on.
On November 30, Tayshia made her first public appearance since she ended her engagement with Zac. The 31-year-old attended Footwear News’ 35th Annual FN Achievement Awards without Zac. Tayshia, who wanted a different future from Zac, attended the show as she was presenting an award to Hoka One One. "It was a great night for all attendees," a source told Us Weekly, noting that Hoka is the shoe brand Tayshia wore while running the New York City Marathon last month. Tayshia was so honored to be able to present the award that she even got nervous at one point and "lost her thoughts for a moment." While she may have flubbed her speech, Tayshia did look gorgeous. She wore a little black dress with a diamond and sapphire ring to add more dimension to the ensemble.
Despite staying out of the spotlight for the past few weeks, a source close to the publication said, "She is doing amazing and great," after the split. Zac also made his first public appearance since the break-up this week, attending Caron’s 15th Annual Greater New York Community Service Awards Breakfast. Zac's Release Recovery Foundation was one of the many honorees who have made exceptional contributions in the fight against drug and alcohol addiction. Representatives for Tayshia and Zac confirmed their break-up last month after more than a year together. Sources said the pair could not completely commit to each other, which allowed them to realize they were not the perfect match for one another.
Now that Tayshia is out and about post-split, maybe she is ready to dip her toe in the dating game again. It's been a while since Tayshia, who was on a break, has been out in the dating world. So she might take her time before diving into another serious relationship.
