The former star of The Bachelorette Tayshia Adams may be smitten and in love with fiancée Zac Clark, but she says they are in no rush to get married. Zac originally came on The Bachelorette when Clare Crawley was the lead. However, that pursuit was short-lived, as she got engaged to contestant Dale Moss two weeks into the show. Once Tayshia took over as Bachelorette, she and Zac had an instant connection that eventually led to an engagement at the end of the season.
The couple recently celebrated their first anniversary of meeting on the show. The Bachelorette co-host posted a precious Instagram post reflecting on the past year with her fiancée. On their first date on the show, Zac took Tayshia to the fountain at the La Quinta resort, where they threw their coined wishes into the water. The two lovebirds visited the resort last week and "renewed their wishes" together. She ended the caption of her post by saying "143" and Zac commented the same thing. They have their own little lingo, how cute.
While the couple is happily in love, they are in no rush to get married. During the Men Tell All taping, Tayshia told US Weekly that she and Zac are happily dating and enjoying each other's company. She also explained that the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic has allowed them to take baby steps when it comes to planning their wedding. "You kind of, like, put a little cap on a lot of the things people to do,” the 30-year-old said. “So now we’re really able to have fun. I’m really enjoying life.”
Tayshia's busy schedule being the current co-host for The Bachelorette is another reason why the couple is keeping their relationship slow and steady. "We’re doing really, really well. We’re happily engaged, but right now, we’re just really — we’re dating!” The reality star also added she is enjoying her time exploring New York City, where Zac resides. She clearly loves the East Coast by the looks of her Instagram NYC content.
Zac and Tayshia are one of the top realistic couples to come out of the show. Dating on The Bachelorette and dating in real life are two completely different things, and most contestants, and even leads, forget that. The two smitten kittens are clearly head-over-heels in love with each other. The day the two decide to plan their wedding will be epic.
The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 PM ET on ABC.
