Tayshia Adams, featured on The Bachelorette season 16, was sent to the hospital after running in the NYC Marathon. A former bachelorette and a beloved co-host, Tayshia has become a familiar face in the franchise, appearing on a number of series on ABC. From pursuing love on the beaches of Mexico to finding a life partner on her own season of The Bachelorette, Tayshia has faced a number of challenges to find a genuine love connection. Dedicated to her fiancée, Zac Clark, Tayshia has finally stepped aside from the competition of the series and taken a role as a Bachelor Nation mentor.

Focused on her relationship with Zac and guiding upcoming Bachelor Nation contestants, Tayshia has emphasized healthy relationships and quality connections over the drama of the series. While there have been plenty of scandals and rumors in recent installments of the franchise, Tayshia has helped to redirect the narrative of Bachelor Nation, calling out toxic fans and taking time away from social media to focus on more important life events. Even though fans have shared negativity online about the couple and criticized her relationship with Zac, Tayshia has remained firm in her convictions and in her love for Zac.

As reported by E! News, Tayshia shared that she was sent to the hospital after "painful" injuries from running in the NYC Marathon. After enduring the grueling run of the marathon with Zac, Tayshia experienced what she claims to be "the most painful thing in the world." With injuries from her lack of experience running long distances, Tayshia was left immobile for two days following the event. Experiencing fluctuating pain and hunger, Tayshia described how uncomfortable her marathon run was. Still able to finish and participate alongside Zac, Tayshia expressed shock about the impact the run had on her body. Claiming she "jumped on the marathon bandwagon," Tayshia may have underestimated the toll of such a high-intensity excursion.

Meant to be a quality bonding experience with Zac, Tayshia faced a number of hardships following her participation in the NYC Marathon. Successfully completing the marathon and being able to support her fiancé as he shared his passion for the event with her, the race ultimately took a toll on Tayshia's body and well-being. Without proper preparation and consideration of her "chronic knee pain," the event wasn't as successful as the couple had hoped. Still able to share the experience with one another and celebrate the victory of finishing, Tayshia may be taking her time before joining Zac for another marathon run.

Moving past harmful rumors and negativity from fans, Tayshia and Zac are stronger than ever. Pushing outside of their comfort zones to help explore one another's passions, the couple progresses together, both emotionally and physically. With plenty of trials to come, including Tayshia's future as a co-host, both Tayshia and Zac appear focused on their connection and love for one another. Vocal about their relationship, both online and on television, Tayshia and Zac have been able to focus on their lives away from the series. With injuries, exciting adventures and more involvement with Bachelor Nation, fans can expect the couple to have a recurring presence as The Bachelorette continues in season 18.
