Bachelorette star and co-host Tayshia Adams explained why she left Click Bait with Bachelor Nation in a statement on the podcast on Thursday. Tayshia, a 31-year-old phlebotomist-turned-influencer, has a long history with the Bachelor franchise, beginning with her appearance on Colton Underwood’s season in 2019. That summer she joined the cast of Bachelor In Paradise season 6, where she met John Paul Jones, also known as JPJ. Their short-lived romance captured the hearts of Bachelor Nation. In 2020, Tayshia replaced Clare Crawley as The Bachelorette when Clare ended her season early to leave with Dale Moss. Tayshia got engaged to Zac Clark on the finale, but, sadly, they broke up in November 2021.

In March 2021, Tayshia was announced as one of the new co-hosts of The Bachelorette, alongside Kaitlyn Bristowe. They co-hosted Katie Thurston and Michelle Young’s seasons and received favorable reviews. In October 2021, Tayshia launched "Amaryllis x Tayshia," a clothing collection with Amaryllis Apparel. Tayshia also has been one of the co-hosts of both the Click Bait with Bachelor Nation and Bachelor Happy Hour podcasts throughout the last few years, but she left both of those roles in January 2022. Tia Booth was announced as Tayshia's replacement on the Click Bait podcast. There was much speculation about why she parted ways with the podcasts, with some people wondering if it had to do with her breakup with Zac.

She went on to say that she wanted to express her love and gratitude to everyone before she says good bye "for a little while. Tayshia also thanked the Click Bait listeners for their support over the years, especially those who helped "build Click Bait from the bottom up. This podcast will hold such a special place in my heart, but I'm also just really excited to see where it goes." Tayshia acknowledged the hosts of Click Bait, Joe Amabile, Natasha Parker, and Tia Booth, saying that she knows that she is leaving it "in very, very capable hands. Joe, Natasha, and now Tia, I'm always going to be rooting for you guys and I will definitely be listening. I mean who knows, I might even stop by and say hello in the future." Tayshia concluded her message with hope for the future, thanking everyone and saying, "And as I always say, when one door closes, another opens, and I'm actually really excited to share what's next. So keep following along cause, honey, we're just getting started!" When the message ended, Joe, Natasha, and Tia praised Tayshia for her work on the podcast. Tia added that she was glad that Tayshia clarified that there was no "bad blood," and that sometimes things are just mutual decisions, and people just move on to different things. They all agreed that they would love to have her back on the podcast some day.

Tayshia has been a fan-favorite of Bachelor Nation for many years. She was one of the most respected and beloved women to star on The Bachelorette. It was a classy move for her to send a message to the Click Bait with Bachelor Nation podcast to let listeners know why she left, and that she wishes her former co-hosts well. She always handles difficult situations with maturity, grace, and dignity. Whatever the future holds for her, Tayshia is sure to be successful.
