Warning! Spoilers ahead for The Bachelorette season 18!
Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette has finally begun, and the spoilers for who she is engaged to are already released. The reality star was announced as the lead along with Katie Thurston during Matt James' finale on The Bachelor. Katie filmed her season right away, while Michelle's season took place a few months later. Katie's season ended in a happy engagement to Blake Moynes, and it is now time for Michelle's journey to begin.
Since Michelle began filming her season, spoilers about the outcome have already been swirling around the internet. Fans were quick to find out that one of Michelle's suitors, Clayton Echard, is The Bachelor for season 26. Without the judgment of the fans, ABC decided to go ahead and pick a male lead before fans got to see him vie for Michelle's heart on-screen. Now, viewers know Michelle's finale pick isn't Clayton.
Recently, Reality Steve announced who Michelle's final pick is and if they are engaged. He revealed that the 27-year-old did leave her season as an engaged woman with Nayte Olukoya. Fans first heard of Nayte in mid-August when Reality Steve revealed he was on a one-on-one date with Michelle on Lake Minnetonka. On the date, Michelle and Nayte took a pontoon boat out on the lake and arrived at a nearby restaurant where the couple played volleyball with her two friends. The pair were also seen paddleboarding that same day. Now that all of Michelle's suitors have been announced by ABC, fans also got to see Nayte and Michelle meeting each other for the first time during limo entrances and having a one-on-one chat during the cocktail hour in previews of the season.
Since ABC announced the men competing for Michelle's heart this season, they also gave a little background on each contestant. According to his ABC bio, Nayte is a 27-year-old sales executive, who currently resides in Austin, Texas. He is 6'8" and is ready to meet the woman of his dreams now that he is getting closer to the age of 30. Nayte is looking for someone who is outgoing, spontaneous, and "has enough swagger of her own to keep up with him." Steve also revealed that Nayte is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and was working for Indeed.com. However, it is unclear if he kept the job after appearing on The Bachelorette. So far, it seems as though Michelle may have found her person.
While viewers will not find out for sure if Nayte and Michelle end up engaged until the finale, it seems very likely. Reality Steve has been accurate most of the time, so it wouldn't be a shock if the couple is currently together. Nonetheless, fans will have to start watching The Bachelorette on October 19 to find out if Michelle and Nayte do leave the show engaged.
