The release date for Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette was just announced, and news and updates about filming are leaking almost every day. Katie was announced as the next Bachelorette along with Michelle Young. For the first time in history, there will be two seasons of The Bachelorette this year, though Michelle's season will air later in the fall, after Bachelor in Paradise. With two seasons on the horizon, it can be hard to keep up with all the new information, so here's what we know about Katie's upcoming season so far.

Katie's season is currently being filmed at the luxurious Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will be filling in for Chris Harrison this season, although they made it clear they will be more like advisors than hosts. Some exciting spoilers have already come out about Katie's upcoming season, so consider this a spoiler warning.

It was just announced that Katie's season of The Bachelorette will premiere on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the usual 8 p.m. time slot. The first video promo has been released, and it's a simple clip of Katie holding a sign that announces the premiere date. ABC also released the premiere date of Bachelor in Paradise, which is Monday, August 16, 2021. Internet sleuth @thebachrecap think they know who has been eliminated on Katie's season already by noting who has returned to Instagram. Early fan-favorite Bao Wu seems to already be home, along with contestants Garret Schwartz, Gabriel Zeverette, and Marcus Lathan. If your favorite is on the list of possibly-eliminated contestants, don't worry – there's still a chance someone could be managing their accounts for them while they film The Bachelorette.

One confirmed piece of news that could shake up the whole season is that Blake Moynes has returned to The Bachelorette. The Canadian animal lover made an impression on Clare Crawley's season when he told the audience he bought a book on dementia to help him understand Clare's situation with her mother. Blake has recently been spotted in "leaked" photos on set at the Tamaya Resort. The pictures look like they were taken by someone on set rather than by paparazzi, leading some fans to speculate that the photos got out on purpose by ABC's crafty marketing team. Not much is known about how far Blake will go this season, or who, for that matter, is Katie's current frontrunner.

While we don't know who is currently stealing Katie's heart as her season continues to film, we do know that lovebirds Zac Clark and Tayshia Adams are making the most of Tayshia's new hosting gig. The couple spent Easter together at the Tamaya Resort where Zac sent Tayshia on her very own Easter egg hunt. Here's hoping Katie will find her very own Zac Clark on her season of The Bachelorette.
