Here’s what happened to the winners of The Bachelorette season 13 after it ended. The Bachelorette is the female-focused spinoff of ABC’s The Bachelor and aired its first season way back in 2003. Despite the series taking a three-year hiatus between 2005 and 2008, the reality dating show is still going strong over a decade later.

In each season an eligible bachelorette - who was previously a contestant on The Bachelor - is selected to head the series. The leading lady of The Bachelorette is then presented with a pool of potential suitors and whittles them down each week until just one remains, who then gets to pop the question to the bachelorette of the season.

Season 13 of The Bachelorette aired back in 2017 and broke ground by having the show’s first non-white leading lady, Rachel Lindsay – an attorney hailing from Dallas, Texas who placed third overall in The Bachelor season 21 and quickly became a Bachelorette fan favorite. Among Lindsay’s 31 suitors was professional wrestler Kenny Layne (aka Kenny King), though by the season finale just three potential husbands remained – Eric Bigger, Peter Kraus, and Bryan Abasolo. Lindsay was reportedly quite enamored by two of the season 13 finalists but it was Abasolo – a chiropractor from Miami, Florida – who won her over and became the winner of the season after Lindsay accepted his marriage proposal. But how did the couple fare after The Bachelorette season 13 ended?

Bryan Abasolo and Rachel Lindsay

The romantic at heart will be happy to hear that Lindsay and Abasolo continued their relationship after the credits rolled, making them one of the few couples from the so-called Bachelor Nation franchise that has actually stayed together after the show. The couple also stayed engaged with Abasolo originally moving to Lindsay’s hometown of Dallas. More recently, the pair relocated to Abasolo’s Miami hometown and are set to tie the knot in late August 2019 at a destination wedding in the Caribbean. They also hope to become pregnant soon after their nuptials, so Bachelorette fans should hopefully hear the pitter-patter of tiny Lindsay-Abasolo feet in the not-too-distant future.

Career-wise, Abasolo is still a chiropractor but recently confirmed that Lindsay had left her old law firm to concentrate on her sports broadcasting career. Since then Lindsay has guest-hosted ESPN’s talk show First Take and provided commentary for later seasons of The Bachelorette series alongside a stint on Access Hollywood and appearances on shows including Strahan and Sara and Steve.
