The upcoming season of The Bachelorette will reportedly start filming in March at the Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta, Canada. If you were planning a vacation here this spring, you may be out of luck, as the iconic lodge has been completely booked from the end of February to the end of April. Last summer, the ABC reality dating series was filmed in Palm Springs California at the La Quinta Resort & Club for the Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams season.

For The Bachelor, Matt James and his group of women are getting to spend their season at the Nemacolin Resort in Pennsylvania. With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic still happening with no signs of stopping, the production crew is thinking ahead of time for the next season in the franchise. All that is left is who will be named the next Bachelorette.

According to Global News, the upcoming season of The Bachelorette is set to be filmed in Alberta at the popular vacation spot, Jasper Park Lodge, after a 9-week booking was confirmed. All 446 rooms have been completely booked from February 23 to April 29, giving the cast and crew time to quarantine for two weeks before and after the show. Officials of the city have confirmed there has been a private booking for two months at the resort, but have not said who it is. Reality Steve, known for blogging about the franchise as well as revealing spoilers about the show, admitted on Twitter that he got a tip from someone in his DM's confirming the show will be filming at the resort.

I heard about a month ago it was going to be in Canada,” Steve revealed. “I heard they are leaving for Canada at the end of February, but I also know filming doesn’t start until mid-March, so that gives them the two-week grace period on the front end to get their quarantine done,” he added. This left Steve with several questions from fans wondering if Serena P., who is from Toronto, will be slated as the next lead. Steve is not sure who The Bachelorette will be, but he is positive it will not be Serena just because she is from Canada. Nor will the cast be filled with more Canadian men than usual due to the location of the resort. As for who Steve thinks the next Bachelorette will be, he thinks Bri Springs, Abigail Heringer and Katie Thurston are the best contenders from this season to take the lead.

With the crew expected to head to Alberta in less than a month, it's crunch time on picking the next lead of The Bachelorette. Will ABC choose one of Steve's picks or will they choose a wildcard like Victoria or Anna? Fans won't know until the season final of Matt Jame's season of The Bachelor.
