Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette is set to begin filming soon and many new details have emerged about the Minnesota teacher’s journey to find love. When Katie Thurston and Michelle were named the new Bachelorettes, speculation began about what their seasons would be like. Katie’s season is currently airing, but Michelle’s has yet to film. Spoilers have now revealed where the season will be filmed, who will host, and when it will premiere.

This year, ABC took a major departure from the normal Bachelor Nation lineup and scheduled two seasons of The Bachelorette with one season of Bachelor in Paradise to air in between. Katie and Michelle’s back-to-back seasons will air in early summer and then the fall. Fans were initially confused about the schedule, but it made sense for Michelle who, as a teacher, cannot film in the spring when Katie did. Now, Katie’s season is in the home stretch and Michelle’s will begin filming soon, so fans are eager for details.

According to Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve, filming of Michelle’s season will start next week at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California. But the cast reportedly won’t stay there long. After a few weeks, production is set to move to Minnesota, where Michelle is from. In Minnesota, Reality Steve added that the season will at least partly be filmed at the historic Semple Mansion – an extremely popular wedding venue. The blogger has also claimed Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will return to co-host Michelle’s season.

Of course, Reality Steve has been wrong before, but usually not about the filming locations, so the Palm Springs and Minnesota spots he reported are probably a lock. Michelle’s season will film through the rest of the summer and will premier on October 19, in the Tuesday timeslot, as did Clare and Tayshia’s season. Based on ABC’s schedule, it appears there will be a gap between the finale of Bachelor in Paradise and the premiere of The Bachelorette.

There’s a lot of excitement building for Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette, as many fans were rooting for her to be picked as the Bachelorette before the double seasons were announced. The last three seasons of the franchise have been rooted in one spot, so the multiple locations for Michelle’s season could inject a little more adventure into the show than viewers have gotten recently, and fans are already pumped.
