The Bachelorette season 18 lead Michelle Young is a self-proclaimed late bloomer in terms of dating, but she's still had her fair share of relationships prior to the show. While on The Bachelor, Michelle revealed that she was in a relationship that ended shortly before she applied to be on Matt James' season. Michelle, who might be perfect for Joe Coleman, didn't reveal who the man was, but internet sleuths were able to figure out the identity of the mystery man. Elite Daily believes the guy Michelle was in a relationship with prior to The Bachelor was Aaron Ganson. The couple likely met while she was attending Bradley University in Illinois, where he and Michelle played basketball. While Aaron's private Instagram profile reportedly doesn't have any photos with Michelle, his Facebook page did include a cute snap of the pair from 2016.
The last photo of Michelle and Aaron was from October 2019, which took place a few months before their breakup. While it is unclear how long the former couple were together, their relationship seemed pretty serious as it spanned over four years. Once her relationship with Aaron ended, Michelle applied for The Bachelor, where she met Matt. She and Matt immediately fell for each other, with Michelle making it to the final two. Even though the pair didn't work out in the end, Michelle is grateful for the experience. Through the show, the teacher was able to secure a spot as The Bachelorette and is now on her own journey to find the one.
