Now competing on Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette, Lowell "LT" Murray IV's mother Lauren Murray found out later in her life that she happened to be the daughter of legendary Hollywood star Clint Eastwood - which makes LT his grandson. In the past, there have been many contestants in The Bachelor franchise who were related to famous individuals. More often than not, those connections help these cast members stick around for a few episodes, but there are no guarantees.
When it comes to Hollywood, Clint Eastwood is one of the most revered actors and directors in the history of filmmaking. Clint Eastwood's most notable works include 1992's Unforgiven, 1995's The Bridges Of Madison County, 2004's Million Dollar Baby, and 2008's Gran Torino, to name a few. Over the years, Clint had a total of eight children: Lauren Murray, Kyle Eastwood, Alison Eastwood, Scott Eastwood, Kathryn Eastwood, Kimber Lynn Eastwood, Francesca Eastwood, and Morgan Eastwood.
As reported by The Daily Mail, the story goes as follows: Clint Eastwood's first daughter, Lauren Murray (a.k.a. Laurie), was put up for adoption when she was very young. After she became a grown woman, she sought to learn who her parents were. It was then that she found out that the legendary Hollywood star Clint Eastwood happened to be her father. Clint and Laurie have since become close and even go on vacations together. In turn, Laurie has two children: Lowell Murray IV (a.k.a. LT Murray) and Kelsey. As Michelle Young and her cast of men walk into The Bachelorette season 18, LT Murray IV happens to be the oldest contestant of the season. The 38-year-old yoga guru is from Bellevue, Washington. According to his bio with ABC, LT has "his grandfather's initials [tattooed] over his heart." He described himself as someone who is perfectly fulfilled in life but still missing a partner to join him in his different adventures. Moreover, LT explained that he has two Savannah cats as pets and really enjoys a spin class for exercising. Last but not least, LT loves watching old movies and writing love letters.
Only time will tell how far LT will make it on The Bachelorette, but it is certainly exciting for Bachelor Nation to watch none other than Clint Eastwood's grandson on TV. As for Michelle Young, the jury is still out on whether or not she'll find a connection with LT. More than anything else, fans want Michelle to find the love of her life.
