ABC's The Bachelorette is set to begin airing on June 7, and fans are already chiming in on this season by way of the new promos. Each teaser, trailer, and thumbnail has been discussed, analyzed, and dissected by fans. It seems like fans love Katie as a person, but aren't as enamored by the way her season is being marketed. Below are the most common fan reactions to Katie Thurston's many promos.

When Katie appeared on Matt James's season of The Bachelor, she became known as the "dildo girl" because of the lilac vibrator she brought with her on night one. As the season went on, Katie was the defender of the bullied, standing up for girls like Sarah Trott and Brittany Galvin. Unfortunately, she didn't have much of a love story with Matt after leaving in 11th place. Therefore, producers seem a little lost on how to market Katie's new season of The Bachelorette, and fans have noticed.

In the first promo video, Katie wore a lilac dress many fans likened to a prom dress. They deduced that the color was a nod to the vibrator she brought on the show, and purple now seems to be the color of all of her promotional material for this reason. Later in the video, she wore a white T-shirt over the dress that read, "Be a Katie." Fans wondered what that was supposed to mean exactly, and the overall sentiment was Katie's down-to-earth personality didn't come through in the video.  In the next promo video. Katie also wore a purple skirt, which fans pointed out was on backwards, and a different white T-shirt, which was blank this time.

The actual trailer for Katie's season was met with positive fan responses. Fans focused on the snippets of romance shown in the teaser, like a movie-worthy kiss in the rain and a boom box. However, the most recent promo video has fallen flat. The video posted on The Bachelorette's Instagram account jokes about something behind Katie's back that she takes with her "everywhere she goes," which turns out to be her phone. Many fans were annoyed that the marketing team is making cheesy jokes about her vibrator in a lazy attempt to appear "sex-positive."

Fans also found it strange that Katie's white T-shirt was back again, this time reading, "good vibes only." One comment on Instagram with more than 170 likes said, "Kinda weird to me that yall keep editing different sayings on her shirt 😭." Another commenter wrote, "These promos for her are THE WORST. and she seems wonderful." While not everyone feels as strongly about Katie's promos as these fans, it seems that, overall, most fans are excited for Katie's season to begin, and for her promo season to be over.
