Through Katie Thurston's journey on The Bachelorette, she fell in love with more than one contestant on her season. The bank marketing manager's season kicked off on Monday night with 30 suitors vying for her heart. More than one of the men caught Katie's attention, however, only one was able to receive the first impression rose. Greg Grippo was the lucky one to receive the coveted rose, which Reality Steve had spoiled weeks earlier. While Greg may have been on her mind the most, Katie is still keeping her options open.
Viewers met the 30-year-old for the first time when she competed on Matt James' season of The Bachelor earlier this year. She exited the limo on the first night with a vibrator in hand, which sent both Matt and Katie into a fit of laughter. While this stunt did create a bond between the two, it wasn't enough to develop a romantic relationship. After Katie attended her first one-on-one with Matt, he realized the pair shared more of a friendship and decided to send her home halfway through the date. Now Katie is on her own journey to find the man of her dreams.
During an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight's Nichelle Turner, the reality star got candid about falling in love with multiple men on her journey to find the one. "I fall in love more than once," Katie teased, adding that whether she's still in love is "something to find out." She continued, "Nothing’s off-limits this season. [...] Love is love, and I gotta do what I gotta do." Katie also revealed something to the press no Bachelorette has done at the beginning of their season; she admitted to being intimate during overnights. "I have sex in the fantasy suites, so you heard it here first," she said, noting, "We all know it happens, but no one’s talking about it!"
Katie drew fans in on The Bachelor for her sex-positive attitude. So it's no surprise to the audience that she is open and honest about her sexuality. "I'm embracing who I am, and if a guy can't accept me being sex-positive or talking about sex, it's just not gonna work out," Katie admitted. "There are some people who are a little traditional and old school, but [...] It's 2021, embrace your sexuality and be an empowered woman." Besides being sex-positive, Katie also wants a guy who is kind, has a good sense of humor and is passionate about life and what he does. While she admitted her season was quite difficult, even almost calling it quits, Katie stuck it out to find the man of her dreams.
Now that Katie's season of The Bachelorette has begun to air, viewers are excited to see who Katie falls for. Greg seems like the top contender as he received the first impression rose. Connor Brennan, who exited the limo dressed as a cat, also caught Katie's attention and might be one to look out for as well. Nonetheless, fans will have to wait and see who Katie gets engaged to as the season progresses.
