Hunky Canadian Blake Moynes hasn’t even made his debut on Katie’s season of The Bachelorette, but already his Instagram activity is making fans think he gets her final rose. It’s no secret that Bachelor Nation fans pore over cast members’ social media for clues about how the latest season turns out, and Blake may have inadvertently revealed that he’s engaged to Katie. It’s not definitive proof that Blake wins the season, but fans have latched on to the idea regardless.
Blake was a contestant on the last season of The Bachelorette has gained a reputation within Bachelor Nation as someone who falls hard and fast—first for Clare and then for Tayshia. However, things didn’t work out with Clare because she speedily got engaged to Dale Moss and exited the season. Blake remained on the show after Tayshia took over, and though he developed feelings for the new Bachelorette, Tayshia eventually sent him home. Blake wasn’t good for Clare or Tayshia, but this season he’s trying his chances with Katie, and is set to make an appearance in the next episode.
Though Blake has yet to introduce himself to Katie on the show, his latest Instagram post has fans seeing parallels with the Bachelorette. In his new post, Blake poses for a selfie in a “Cat Dad” T-shirt with his fluffy black pet cat. The next slide in the post has a picture of a “Cat Mom” shirt. Katie is famously a cat lover, and many fans thought the post could be an indication that Blake ends up with her. “This screams couple’s t-shirts,” a fan commented on the post, and another asked, “Future Cat Daddy to Katie’s (pet cat) Tommy?”
Many fans were surprised to find out that Blake was going to be on Katie’s season. Though he didn’t step out of a limo on night one, Blake apparently made his interest known to Katie, who was supported by host Kaitlyn Bristowe in her decision to allow him to join her cast partway through. Clearly, Katie forms a connection with him, because spoilers report that Blake goes far on her season. Blake’s recent post isn’t exactly proof, but it’s certainly a clue that the two animal lovers might be engaged.
Although he didn’t find love his first time on The Bachelorette, after Clare and Tayshia’s season Blake may have fared better. He was clearly determined to meet Katie and has managed to find a place for himself in the cast after the season has already started. His latest post is just another one of many animal-centric photos, but there’s always the chance that Blake has unintentionally spilled the beans about the ending of Katie’s season.
