The Bachelorette's Katie Thurston gave Blake Moynes her final rose, and now, the newly engaged couple are traveling through his home country of Canada. The couple began their new relationship after Blake joined Katie's season at the halfway point. At first, she wasn't too sure about the relationship, but Blake was able to prove he was worthy of her love. After several weeks of eliminating her suitors, Katie finally realized that Blake was her one true love.
Before the 30-year-old decided who her final choice would be, Katie went through a rough patch with her front-runner, Greg Grippo. The former couple had a massive blowout following Greg's hometown date, explaining he felt dismissed by her after expressing his feelings. He decided to self-eliminate from the competition, as he could no longer take not knowing whether or not Katie would give him her final rose.
Over the weekend, Katie shared a number of snapshots of her and Blake's Canadian adventures on her Instagram Story. The pair first visited Niagara Falls, where the former bank marketing manager posted a video of her and Blake, completely drenched in water while wearing matching red ponchos on a boat tour. After their Niagara Falls adventure, Katie and Blake ventured to Toronto, where they visited another popular tourist attraction, the CN Tower. The couple enjoyed a delicious, melting chocolate round dessert with warm chocolate ganache on a plate that had, "Congratulations," written in chocolate syrup. Katie also shared a few selfies of the pair on their journey through Ontario-based tourist attractions.
The former reality star lead also shared a few Canadian snacks along the way. Katie tried famous ketchup chips, poutine fries and even had a Molson Canadian beer. Other than sharing her Canadian adventures with her new fiancé, Katie also reposted snaps of Blake, spoofing one of Katie's recent photoshoots. Clearly, Katie appreciates her fiancé's sense of humor. Blake also shared some adorable photos of him and Katie on his Instagram. He posted a video of him and Katie driving while she enjoyed a hefty serving of poutine. Besides Katie enjoying the photoshoot, fans and Bachelor Nation got a laugh out of the photos. Demar Jackson, from the Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams season of The Bachelorette, wrote in the comment section, "Got on them 'Ooo Wow Wow' shorts on I see."
Now that Katie and Blake are out of hiding, the pair are able to travel throughout his home country together. The former Bachelorette stars are excited to begin this new chapter of their lives, and it's starting in Canada. Maybe this trip will convince Katie to move to Canada once they are married.
