Celebrating the one-year anniversary of meeting Jason Tartick, The Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe recently talked about her "goofy friendship" with her boyfriend that turned into a "beautiful love story." It's impossible to find someone who doesn't approve of Bristowe and Tartick's love, probably because those people don't exist.

Before Tartick entered the picture, Bristowe had been going steady with her fiancé Shawn Booth, who she met during her season of The Bachelorette. The two stayed engaged for three years, but the relationship came to a heartbreaking end late last year. Soon after, Tartick was Bristowe's new man. Tartick had been a fan favorite on The Bachelorette in 2018, when he placed third on Becca Kufrin's season. Tartick, a Buffalo native, was considered to be in the running to be The Bachelor, and to the chagrin of plenty of fans, Colton Underwood was chosen instead. It didn't take long for Bachelor Nation to get over it once they learned that Tartick and Bristowe had become an item. Although they aren't engaged yet, the couple hasn't shied away from discussing the topic. This past week, however, they had something else to celebrate.

In an Instagram post, Bristowe recalled the story of how she met Tartick. Bristowe wrote, "We had never met, but he hugged me, and told me he had just cried too at a charity event he came from. He looked at me and said, 'let’s have a soft Tuesday together'." She shared the photo on Thursday, the 365-day anniversary of their first interaction.

Bristowe closes the caption with, "Thank you for always lifting me up, being my rock, and thank you for stepping foot into that studio with your Cyclopes eye. You’re my Lobster." For fans who watched Tartick fight for Kufrin's heart on The Bachelorette, it's no surprise to hear how highly Bristowe thinks of him.

If this relationship works out - seriously, who is hoping it won't - then there will be many more milestones to commemorate. The couple didn't officially go public with their partnership until January of this year. They made their social media debut in February and decided to move in together in May. And, if an engagement is in the picture down the road, fans will have even more reason to be invested in a romance that few, including Bristowe, saw coming, but one that everyone can agree is perfect. Don't expect Bristowe to rush into an engagement and subsequent marriage. If we've learned anything from her engagement with Booth, it's that she isn't in a hurry to tie the knot just because everyone keeps asking. She's going to move at her own pace, and as long as it's with Tartick, who are we to complain?
