Jed Wyatt's ex-girlfriend Haley Stevens didn't watch The Bachelorette, but that didn't stop her from addressing the cheating during their relationship, as well as what she thinks of Wyatt now. She hasn't talked to the guy who said "I love you" and then ran off with her guitar case - which he never returned, by the way - to propose marriage to another woman, but that doesn't mean she had nothing to say about him.

Stevens made headlines and got Bachelor Nation talking when she claimed that Wyatt never broke up with her before going on the show. She knew that he'd decided to try The Bachelorette, but the understanding was that he was only there to promote his music career. Fans understandably were anti-Wyatt after the interview was released. Wyatt retorted on social media, pleading for people to stop attacking him and his family until he had a chance to tell his side of the story. Turns out, his side of the story, after all the lying and denying, confirmed everything Stevens had revealed to the press. He never ended things with his her. He told Stevens he loved her multiple times and spent the night with her before he left.

In a video interview with ET the day after the finale, Stevens said, "I feel like a sense of relief. The pressure's off." Though she didn't tune in, she learned new information through clips and word of mouth, primarily that Wyatt told Brown he was seeing other people while dating Stevens. To this, Stevens responded, "Perhaps I'm off base here, but 'I love you' to me means 'I love you', not 'I'm seeing a bunch of other people.'" To Wyatt's explanation to Hannah Brown that he was drunk when he told Stevens he loved her, Stevens replied that he said it too many times to have been intoxicated during every utterance.

Jed Wyatt The Bachelorette with Hannah Brown

As Stevens' friends followed the season, they were surprised that Wyatt claimed to be falling in love with Brown. They told Stevens, "We thought that it was you two against the world." Stevens said Wyatt's parents knew about her when Brown visited for hometown dates. She spent five days with his family and talked to them while Wyatt was on the season. Stevens still has one lingering question: "I have wondered every single day, 'When did you forget about me?'" But she is also, like Brown, completely over Wyatt because she's now been exposed to his true character, along with the rest of America. When asked whether she wants to hear an apology from him, Stevens said, "It's not even necessary. I've moved on from him."

The fact that Wyatt not only cheated on Stevens - and, it's rumored, Brown - but also told his friends he won the show is further proof that he's not ready for marriage. Furthermore, he doesn't deserve Brown or Stevens, or any woman, for that matter, until he grasps that being loved and trusted and respected is a two-way street.
