The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown may join the cast of Dancing with the Stars. The network is currently eyeing the reality TV star for Season 28.
Brown didn't have much luck on her season of The Bachelorette, which aired earlier this summer. The contestant she chose, Jed Wyatt, who proposed to her in the final episode, ended up lying to her about being in a relationship before joining the show. But, according to reports, their engagement was messy before Brown even found out about Wyatt's ex. Then, she attempted to get back together with runner-up Tyler Cameron, but despite a good post-Bachelorette date in the real world, he was spotted just days later with supermodel Gigi Hadid. He and Hadid have been going strong ever since. In fact, Cameron's currently apartment hunting in New York City, where Hadid lives. That's 0 for 2 for Brown - but maybe the reality star will have better luck on Dancing with the Stars.
Sources told Us Weekly that Brown is being considered to join the cast of Season 28 of Dancing with the Stars. This was shortly after the series' Instagram account shared a teaser photo of who fans assume is Brown, captioning it "We’d LOVE to tell you who this is… But we’re going to make you wait a few more days. Any guesses?" One astute follower wrote, "That’s deff Hannah I looked at her most recent she’s got the same hand freckles." Others commented that they agreed and thought it was Brown, too. They also thought the show putting the word "love" in all capitals in the caption was a nod to The Bachelorette. But aside from these clues, there's been no confirmation Brown will star in the show, and she has yet to make a formal announcement herself.
Fans are hoping Brown gets selected to be on the reality TV show after she shared she'd been struggling since appearing on The Bachelorette. She said she'd gone through a lot in the public eye, like falling in love, getting engaged, ending an engagement, and having her faith questioned after contestant Luke Parker sex-shamed her on the show. But now, Brown continued, she was living life on her own terms and was excited about the opportunities that are now coming her way following her turn as the Bachelorette. Maybe one of those opportunities is Dancing with the Stars.
Viewers will have to wait until the cast is revealed to find out if Brown will compete on Season 28 of Dancing with the Stars. Hopefully she has better luck on this show than she did on the Bachelorette. In the meantime, fans can catch her on an upcoming episode of Bachelor in Paradise.
Dancing with the Stars Season 28 premieres September 16 at 8pm EST on ABC.
