Emily Maynard of The Bachelorette fame is often thought of as one of the show’s most memorable and lovable cast members, and she recently gave birth, just one day after announcing her pregnancy. Emily started her journey for love on The Bachelor, after her fiancé, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, unexpectedly passed away in a plane crash. Fans of the show loved her personality and they were rooting for her right away. Over a decade later, people still want to know how she is doing.

When Brad Womack from The Bachelor proposed to Emily, fans were elated. However, in May of 2012, their excitement quickly faded away, because news broke that the couple had split and the wedding would be canceled. Maynard bounced back by starring in The Bachelorette the following season. While she did find love with contestant Jef Holm, that love didn’t last forever. The two broke off their engagement after only 3 months. Luckily, Emily Maynard met the actual love of her life, Tyler Johnson. The two met at church, off-camera, back in 2014. The rest is history.

Before Emily from the reality TV show The Bachelorette and Tyler released the little girl’s name, they shared a beautiful video on Instagram. The intimate post shows the moment that the little girl was born. The video is quite touching, as Tyler is heard in the background saying, “please cry baby.” Viewers got to witness the sweet baby’s first cry, and they also saw the 6-pound 11-ounce angel swaddled in a baby blanket for the very first time. Fans felt the joy in Emily’s voice when she discovered that the baby was a girl. “Oh my God, oh my God,” she exclaimed. The video is getting lots of attention, as it has already racked up 592,000 views!

Fans can rest easy knowing that The Bachelorette mom and baby are doing well. The infant looked cute in her bow and Emily looked lovely in a hospital-issue bouffant cap, mask, and all!
