Ed Waisbrot of The Bachelorette took to Instagram to joke about how he hasn't had much screen time on the show. With the switch from Clare Crawley to Tayshia Adams, this could be about to change.
This season of The Bachelorette has already been a rollercoaster. During last week's episode, Clare confessed to Chris Harrison that she was falling in love with Dale Moss, even though it was only week three. Clare and Dale spoke, and he was on the same page as she was. Chris Harrison gave Dale the chance to propose or walk away, and Dale decided to propose to Clare. The couple has now been happily engaged since the summer. Tayshia Adams then briefly made her debut as Bachelorette, stepping out of the limo in a glittering, backless gold dress. This week, she'll meet Clare's leftover guys, including Ed Waisbrot.
Ed posted on Instagram last Thursday in honor of the show airing, where he joked that he hadn't had any screen time. He posed in a red t-shirt and khaki shorts in front of the sign for Miami Beach with a morose expression. "This is the face of a man patiently waiting," he wrote in the caption. "Waiting for the outcome of the election, waiting for a shot at love, and waiting to see if I get some freakin' screen time this Thursday night." Ed referred to America's week-long wait for the results of the general election, which has since been called for President-Elect Joe Biden. Ed tagged his post with "#vote #thebachelorette #bachelornation #southbeach." Although most of last week's episode was dedicated to Dale and Clare's love story, watching Tayshia re-meet the guys this week should introduce us to many contestants who haven't been on camera much. The 36-year-old Miami resident and Pittsburgh, PA native went on The Bachelorette after being single for about a year. Although he didn't get much time with Clare, Ed could hit it off with Tayshia. He said he likes girls who are able to joke around, and that he is looking to share his hobbies of kayaking and paddle boarding with a future wife. Tayshia's bubbly personality and love of outdoor activities are likely to appeal to Ed. He also works in healthcare, and Tayshia used to work in phlebotomy before becoming an interior designer.
