Dean Unglert believes that Dale Moss' reconciliation with The Bachelorette season 16 lead Clare Crawley was merely a publicity stunt. Viewers may remember Dean from Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise seasons 4 and 6. During his first time in the franchise, Dean quickly fell for Rachel but was sent home after hometown dates. After Rachel broke his heart, he tried to find love in Mexico but was at the center of a love triangle.

He left Paradise single the first time but returned for a second time, where he did find true love. As soon as Dean, who revealed BIP secrets, saw Caelynn on the beach, he knew he had to take her out on a date. The couple immediately hit it off and left Mexico in a relationship. More than two years have passed since he and Caelynn first met, and their love has only gotten stronger. However, he cannot say the same for other Bachelor Nation alumni.

During a recent episode of his Help! I Suck at Dating podcast, Dean star spoke to his co-host Jared Habion about his feelings towards Clare and Dale's sudden reconciliation earlier this year. "100 percent it was a PR move from Dale to be able to find a career [in] hosting or whatever it is, that's my assessment," Dean, who said producers wanted his to propose to Caelynn, admitted. The 30-year-old also said that he believes Dale was never fully invested in the relationship, which he believes is the reason why their romance comes off as a PR stunt. "Once they broke up [the first time], Dale started to see the backlash that he was receiving. [...] You know he [got] very bad press, like, very bad PR," Dean added. After receiving all the negative press, Dean believes Dale decided to get back together with Clare so he could regain his image and "achieve his professional goals a lot easier."

Dean's co-host, Jared, agreed with his opinion, adding that Dale never reciprocated the same initial attraction that Clare had for him. Jared, who is expecting his first child with Ashley Iaconetti, believes that if Clare would have stuck it out to film her entire season of The Bachelorette, Dale might have left early as he was allegedly never invested in their relationship. Neither Clare nor Dale have shared their opinions of their relationship and it doesn't seem like they will be anytime soon. Dale issued a statement earlier this week that Clare blocked his number shortly after they broke up, so he wasn't able to contact her. Specifically, she blocked him shortly after rumors began to circulate involving Dale and BIP season 7 cast member Abigail Heringer. The two reportedly hooked up while Clare and Dale were on a break in January.

If anybody knows the ins and outs of Bachelor Nation relationships, that's Dean and Jared. While fans will never know if Dale continued a relationship with Clare following The Bachelorette for publicity, the idea seems likely. It's always possible that Dale never seemed that into Clare in the first place and only went along with it to avoid any further backlash.
